Kogan gave me a refurbished stuff, not the new product as described.
it's been a week, no solution from them. struggling to get refund.

Still find it weird that this is still so expensive, considering I bought a 32GB Samsung Galaxy S 3 from Topbuy for just over $560. To each their own I guess.

This is the seller's warranty. The phone must be returned to Apple Hong Kong by Kogan Hong Hong through Kogan Australia. Unless the buyer wants to take a trip to Hong Kong.
Apple warranties apply regardless of where you buy their products. As long as you've registered, you're good.
EB Games had some Refurbished for cheaper, but not cheap enough :(
