Hello OzBargainers!

I'm proud to bring to you OCGear, an Australian based retailer offering custom water cooling parts for a fraction of the price.

Having built computers over the years, I've always found the world of custom water cooling daunting. After extensive research and development with numerous suppliers, OC Gear offers custom water cooling kits with all the core components and none of the unnecessary extras. This allows you to utilise water blocks and fans from your favourite manufacturers such as Noctua or Watercool Heatkiller, without having to throw away any unnecessary components and generating e-waste.

What's more is that we've developed these parts with minimal maintenance in mind including tubing without plasticisers so that your loops don't get cloudy and coolant with anti-corrosives and anti-microbials to extend your service intervals.

To celebrate our recent launch, we're giving 10% off all orders with discount code OCGEAR10. Clicking the discount link will apply this automatically at checkout.

This means a a 360mm copper water cooling loop sans fans and waterblock for $203 shipped in Australia.

If you're also interested in taking your build to the next level but are unsure where to start, please feel free to reach out to me!

This reads more like an advertisement than a bargain and 10% off isn't much for Aus number one bargain website.

Ozbargain is a community website for sharing bargains, it's not meant to be used for free advertising.

    • It is a bit of advertising, but we're hoping to make custom watercooling much more accessible to PC enthusiasts. Compare our kits to current market offerings and I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find something cheaper.

Yes but is it a bargain?

        • i mean….if you are going to go down this route, then 80+% of posts here can be disputed as 'not really a bargain'

Would I trust this water-cooling gear to not leak with my thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment

    • I'm personally using this with a 13600k and a RTX3090 for a few months without any issue. The suppliers that we've worked with supply a lot of OEM parts for various other brands too.

Looks the same as your standard aliexpress fare tbh - barrow, bykski and whatnot. Wouldn't be concerned at all, watercooling gear in itself is pretty simple.

We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot be offer a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Pretty certain this is not how warranty and ACL work in Australia, so I will spend my money elsewhere.

    • We offer a 1 year warranty with all orders as outlined in the FAQ. There's also partial refund due a restocking fee after 30 days.

We want to treat our customers as if we were buying these products for ourselves, so we're open to improvements.

      • Please read your refund statement carefully.

If 30 days have passed, you will not offer refund/exchange OF ANY KIND.

By definition "any kind" includes refund and replacement for warranty purposes. Refusing to offer refund and replacement for warranty purposes is a direct violation of the consumer law. Your refund policy is void in this regard, but I rather not purchase from a merchant who tries to strip away my rights, which would then force me to ask a Tribunal to uphold the law.

        • You're right, it did say that. There was a minor bug showing an older version of our refund policy which has now been rectified. Thanks for pointing it out.
