Shadow of war is an absolutely incredible game, played it through twice now and poured somewhat 80 hours into it. Well worth 10$

Highly recommend you look in your pile of shame library before pulling the trigger (I just almost did), already had the first one…

    • I already have everything in the bundle, are you able to check whether it makes the bundle cheaper for you?

Shows up for me as $9.99 still despite owning shadow of Mordor. Still a no brainer at this price to grab War and dlc

Edit: Specifically states at checkout that I won’t be getting the extra keys despite them being part of the bundle. So boo, no discount pricing for a partial purchase.. Still a bargain though.

        • Agree, shame though.

@tony2shanks: Just realised the Shadow of War Definitive Edition is only $7.49. I can't quite figure out what the difference is between this and the GOTY edition but it seems to have all the same stuff. I might grab that instead of the Shadow Bundle and save a massive $2.50!

        • Can't you purchase as a gift and then get the separate keys?
Use the ones you need and sell/gift the others

Why are you calling me out like this?

Turns out I own them both on GOG for some reason? Maybe free through Prime at some point

      • Yeah they were on prime gaming a couple months ago.

    • I use GOG Galaxy to connect to all my other accounts (steam, epic, gog, playstation, microsoft etc) - makes it easy for me to search for a game to see if I've already got it on any of the platforms.

unpopular opinion: I prefer the first games tone and open world feel…

I'm with you on that one. Second one kinda felt like a drag and was definitely too bloated.

Big agree. In the first one, I felt like I was surviving in this harsh and unwelcoming place, slowly becoming powerful enough to challenge the orcs. Then in the 2nd one everything was janky and felt poorly written. I didn't even get 1 hr in.

  • Huh, I played and really enjoyed shadow of mordor and was always planning to come back for shadow of war when it sufficiently price dropped.

Unfortunately for this sale, TOTK is out in 3 days, so I'll be passing until the next one.

I wish they did another LOTR BFME game. They were so good.

I need to retry Shadow of War. I got bored 2 hours in.

    Reminded me of this:

  • Yup, check your pile of shame. I believe Shadow of War was given away for free on GOG sometime last year.

  • Paypal doesn't seem to ve working on steam mobile app

  • Great game but i found it very repetitive and got old

  • Shadow of Mordor still one of my favorite games.

  • great game/s and this is a great deal but ive played though both of them on consoles

the 1st game was better then the 2nd but are both fund and worth a playesp for 10 bucks

  • "Christopher, my son, did I ever tell you the full story of Shelob? You know, the monstrous spider - descended from the vile Ungoliant! - which I used to read aloud of in our Oxford meetings of the Inklings? Well what I didn't mention back then was Shelob could also transform into a totally hot babe: all pale and dark and wan like Rebecca in Ivanhoe or what will later come to be known as the goth subculture. In fact she looked very much like the pornographic actress Stoya who will be born 13 years after I die. Christopher, I will be entrusting you with my estate. If there is ever a videogame adaptation of my work you must make sure they get this Shelob right - make sure she is what the Anglo-Saxons would have called a hæða ecge, a real sexy bitch."
