Morning all, pretty decent discount on some quality metric ratchet spanners even though they do go on sale semi regularly last time was November 2022 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741313). Stock levels are somewhat low around Brisbanes inner suburbs for QLD but managed to order mine C&C.

Yeah I’ve got a set of them too after reading on ozb about them - they’re enjoyable to use when I find a use for them. For me it’s general motorbike and shed use, not used daily. Great value at this price.

is flex head really worth it over non-flex?
Depends on what you're working on. Flex heads can be handy in tight spots. I have both types but mostly use the fixed ones, probably 90% of the time.
Flex heads are larger, heavier so they don't always fit where you need them to. More parts to fail and with GearWrench, it's bound to fail.
I'd never choose a flex head unless it was strictly for automotive use.
A stubby ratcheting spanner is my alternative to flex head
More stuff to buy I don't need LOL my wallet.
