No, I don't want no scrub
A scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me

As per usual, I can't for the life of me work out how much energy it uses when turned on (but they do tell you how much it uses when off.. FFS)!

Anyway, more actual info here (except power consumption).

When they say "built-in Chromecast" is it as fast and easy to use as a standalone CC?

  • Missed out last time but not going to this time!

Also, TGG website has stock on hand for stores near me but via eBay says nothing in stock for click and collect?

thanks OP glad i missed the last one!

  • Just picked one up for my Dad today $475 in store, for the money it’s pretty good.
Brightness is ok but has a very reflective screen.
Does ok in a dark room but with direct sunlight it’s average.

May I ask how large is packaging? I am thinking of picking up tomorrow instead of delivery. Will it fit on Medium suv?

    • do you know why this TV so cheap?

it is price similar to aldi TVs which maybe a concern about how good it is long term

      • TCL is trying to grow their Australian market share. Both TCL and Hisense have been selling TVs (and other goods) into Australia at reduced margins to build a customer base with the hope of becoming the next Samsung and LG.

The quality isn't going to be as good as Sony or LG with equivalent technology, but you will get better technology at a lower price.

Basically they are cheaper because it's marketing, not because they are made of cheese. I would be choosing this over Aldi or Big W's cheap TVs

  • This code doesn't seem to work for me, anyone else having issues using yippee10?

    • It works for me. Maybe you try using capital letters
