    Screw it, bought!

  • bought one :)

    • ordered two now :)

  • +1

I've got this without the auto-empty thing, and for what it is, it's excellent.

    • How much was it?

  • +1

    Thanks OP, got one 🤞🤞🤞

  • +2

Got the Viomi s9 kr whatever its called. Would this be an upgrade or similar in performance? Dont care about mop function.

  • Can anyone confirm that it is the Pro mop that's included, and not the standard one?

    • -1

      says included

      • +3

        No it doesn’t. It’s implied.
Just received my one and - surprise! No pro mop. Just the standard pad.

        • +1

same situation. message the seller and no reply yet…

        • +1

Yeah, it is implied. The first image in the listing says "free mopping system", which implies the one not part of the robot itself. Also it shows the pro mopping system on the image, not the standard one.
Messaged them through eBay as well.

          • +1

@Doforia: yes, the image shows the pro mopping system, and the subtitle said "FREE OZMO pro+FREE accessories". Let's see how the seller will reply.

            • @Xieqi324: I have also messaged the seller about the pro mopping.

              • @IDontKnowWhyImHere: I have messaged the seller in the morning of yesterday but no response yet, if anyone received response from seller, could you please share the response?

                • @Xieqi324: Sure, I'll update it here. I sent them only in this afternoon.

                • @Xieqi324: I received the pro mop in a separate parcel yesterday (about 3 days after I received the vacuum)

                  • @Trojan: Same I received mine too that's delivered just now.

                  • @Trojan: I received an envelope today with 3(!)pro mops!!!

                    • +1

@GregFiona: lol same. Was so confused!

                      • @63pinecone: me too! I was questioning myself if I accidentally bought them on Amazon(I have been looking for them since I got the robot).
Then I checked here hoping there would be other members with similar experience 😂

                    • @GregFiona: I got 2 pro mop with 1 cloth accessory and another small 1 cloth accessory but not 3 pros.

Actually those 2 pro mops has dirts inside not sure if its refurbished. But the packages were all like new.

                      Can you check your package?

                      • @IDontKnowWhyImHere: I opened and used one, brand new with 10 disposable pads. The other 2 are still in their boxes

                        • @GregFiona: Oh ok, thanks. Mine also has brand new packaging and 10 bags. But on the corners of the mop there are dirts sticking to it. I need to check with the seller in this case.

                      • @IDontKnowWhyImHere: me too, got 2 pro and 1 accessories value pack

        • Does anyone have a copy of the pic showing the pro mop being included? I remeber checking this when ordering but the listing has been updated since.

  • Why price is $1299?

    • Discount automatically applied at checkout

  • +2

This seems really competitive at that price.

    • Considering cheaper brands like Kogan are rarely below 499 with the auto empty dock (launched at 419, currently at 499) it’s a good price for a name brand

  • -1

I would be interested to hear from someone who has one of these with the dock ,
what do you think of it’s performance,
is it good value and saves you time and effort or is it a demon bot and dock from hell as a lot of reviews state ?
I’m keen to update oneday from a eufy pinball , but would like one with a dock that works !

    • Its pretty good , basically you dont have to clean the robot on daily basis.
You might need to do the cleaning once in 3 months

      • +4

Yes , I understand how it’s supposed to work , I am keen to hear from someone who has owned one for more than 26 minutes.

    • +5

Been using this for a while, auto empty is average at best. Maps gets deleted often, and gets stuck very often. Mopping function is below average and annoying if you have carpet and hard.

Would recommend getting the robovac s7+ but price difference is almost 1k

      • Thanks , your experience seems to match up with the online reviews,
I’ll stick with my pinball for now until something better with a dock comes along at a reasonable price .

        • Roborock s7+ top version seems the best, but that had issues too.

But not as many as this.

      • +1

Have the same experience here. It gets stuck often compared to the gen 1 xiaomi robot I had before.
It has a lot of features on paper that poorly implemented.
Cannot recommend this brand or at least this model.

      • +1

I Own a T8+ AIVI and a N8 Neo and i had similar experience. Auto empty is average, most of the times only half the bin is empty. Lot of hair remains in the main brush. I need to clean it after two or three runs anyway.
The mapping is terrible. It works fine the first time, but the map gets corrupted every one or two weeks and you have to re do it.
Mop is pretty good and i would use it more often, if not for the map problem and that it tends to get stuck more often when in mop mode.

The customer service in Australia is very good. I have opened like 10 tickets and always get response on the same day. I got tickets with 10 answers. But they cannot do anything to fix the map problem.

In the end, i am not using them as much as i like, because of the mapping problem. My wife does not want to use the app, and she just start it manually with the hard button, so she doesn;t realized that the map is wrong and most of the time it got stuck. I am the one spending in average 1 hour per week doing troubleshooting and fixing.

I would gladly change both vacuums for a single Roborock S7 without docking station.
I tried to return them but they said the three months return period was over, so you could try that if you want. Not sure if they will honour that

        • So the mapping function gets currupted very often? I read one review where you can restore the map from saved map. Does that work?

          • @IDontKnowWhyImHere: T8 has the option, but sometimes it does not work, since the corrupted map is saved after finishing a cleaning. I would like to have a running mode were the map is locked and couldn't be modified at all, but it does not have that option

            • @zekep: Pick the ecovac up, put it in a random room that was mapped earlier and press button. It should get the old map

            • @zekep: Oh that's bad if it cant be restored. Just thinking whether this is good at this price with these issues.

  • Amazing price, thanks op just ordered!

  • last 6 available in stock

  • +1

Thx, just got one, our first robot vac hopefully it does a good job.

  • +3

I own this model - bought it for $700~ at the start of the year. I really like it.

The vacuum function is great for my flat - floorboards, about 70 sq. metres. I run it once or twice a week - each clean takes about 40 min and I can feel the difference under my bare feet after a vacuum.

Auto-empty station is good. The mapping function is pretty good (but I can't compare it with any other brands/apps).

I haven't tried the mop yet - not sure how good that is.

Honestly, $550 is a steal for this level of vac. I was very happy with my $700 spend on it.

  • OOS so good luck to those who bought 1

  • What's better? This or the N8?

    • -1

      this, i own N8+
but this one has way more advanced features

  • +1

It is still in stock. Why marked as out of stock? I just ordered one

  • Back in stock

  • OOS again ,
maybe they will add more now and then .
The eBay deal does end today or tomorrow ?
    In stock again

  • Back in stock again.

    • …and back out of stock
      Mised out :((((

  • Just bought one, but now with the code it is $699 instead of $649. Then add your MAY15 or MAY17 code for a further saving.

    Still, good deal. Can’t complain!

  • What is the final price after discount? It shows $594 for me.

      • $594.15 you mean?

      • I think the price has been increased.

  • Price Jacked by $50

  • Now they reduced the discount by $50 ,
I think the intern has been given control of their eBay account.

  • I have the Dreame D9 Max, wondering if there is much improvement with the Deebot? Appreciate any feedback

  • 1500 pa suction- very low

    • Suction isn't everything. Hence why these things have a roller.

      • true but its so low, not good enough for deep cleaning of pet hair in carpet.
Basic robot vacuums start at 2000pa

        • "deep cleaning of pet hair in carpet"

If you need that, why would you buy a robot?

          • @mickeyjuiceman: Roborock vacuums do it- their suctions range from 4000-6000pa for newish models
A lot of people have pets and carpets and something like this won't really do the job as its 3x or more weaker

Plus the auto empty is crap - look up youtube videos- for the price its okay for tiles and hard floors but if your looking for something to do a decent job on carpet (even with no pets) this isn't it.

  • Does anyone have a screen shot of the price for price protection purposes?
    Thanks!

  • Super cheap for a name brand with auto empty

  • Good vaccuum. I bought mine last year for $799, and have been getting it to mop every 2 days. Great on floor boards. Shame I missed out as I would have liked to buy a second one for upstairs!

    • I have a spare refurbished one unopened if you're interested
