  • was waiting for this..thanks OP.

  • The AAAs are $9.95 …. but close enough :-)

Thanks, fixed :) Easy mistake to make I guess, on that page shipping is listed as being $3.95 and $3.99 a few lines apart, wish prices could be in whole numbers, psychology of pricing be damned ;)

Not directed at you, but why does the postage keep going up?
Either its jiffy bag or its a box.

      • +4

SS are notorious for exhorbitant shipping costs! ;)

    • Better buy 10 packs then just to get the maximum 12.9% saving!

  • Hmmm … thanks for posting this kabigon. I thought about it and decided not to buy at the moment because their AAs and shipping are not so great price wise and I suspect that there are better offers around the corner from Dick Smith or someone else. I'm really looking to get some of each type and a decent charger. The starter pack that someone posted a deal from Amazon a couple of weeks ago was good but apparently the included charger is crap.

    • +1

Included chargers are always crap. You missed yesterday's La Crosse BC-700 deal?

      • +1

I sort of did miss it. I saw it, started reading about the BC-700 v BC-1000 then got distracted by something shiny. I'm sure something is coming again soon, hopefully in a pack.

Meritline right? I know the feeling..

        • Meritline shiny? More plasticy I think.

I'll get into this eneloop thing eventually … no real hurry.

        • Eneloop do make two types of smart chargers which are quite good.
Theres the usb charger and then the fast charger(which can be charged at a slow rate if you charge 2 or more at a time).

  • Perfect timing, I was scouring for a deal on these the other day, thanks OP!

Dammit! Not another pretty battery! ergh.. must resist… not…to…buy….

I remember posting this deal up 2 months ago, that's almost how long it took for SS to take to send my package…..The didn't even post it for one whole month of July and only sent it cause I followed up.

Still waiting for that Samsung Class 10 MicroSD card from them, ordered it about 2 months ago and still haven't received it. According to the tracking number its already left Hong Kong on the 20th July.

Will not bother with this company again, rather pay that bit for just for customer service and reliability.

guys, is this as good as the colourful ones? they're from South Korea.

    • +2

Yep, there's no difference between the glitter & normal eneloops.

FWIW, I've bought from the ebayer Light'n'Space before, they're pretty good, reasonable shipping time & no fakes.

  • +2

    Cheaper on ebay @ $12.95
I've bought from "chingsumsum" before and they are genuine.

Also solomonsupply and aj_international are "both" good sellers at $13.29

For a $1 more, you could get the ordinary white ones from an Australian ebay store to your door in a day or 2. Are the shiny ones really worth the wait and the hassle??

  • +1

ordered 3 sets. should got +1

if you're going to buy more than 2 packs here, have a look at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-eneloop-Pre-Charged-Rechargeable…
It works out to be cheaper even after adding shipping cost.

    • With shipping for those who want to know: Order Total: AUD 25.21

      • +1

and for 16 batteries including shipping, total $44.97 USD (to Sydney)

  • Is it too difficult for a deal with 8xAAA for $20 delivered?

Also are the eneloops better then the hobbyking LSD AAA batteries. Someone mentioned in the hobbyking deal that they were comparable and it was only $1 per AAA battery.
