May I ask why?
I reckon it’s convenience, always having your controllers docked when you don’t use them really, which means always fully charged
Dock both so you can switch controller if running out of battery.
The dualsense has such a short battery life it's basically mandatory to charge it between plays, which can get annoying cable-charging.
Should be getting 8 hours on a DualSense. I guess it depends on haptics/speaker and session lengths.
Really? Maybe my dualshock 4 is old, but I've been getting comparatively longer playtimes with the dualsense. I don't charge after every session because it still shows up as three bars for quite a while.
I haven't been measuring or anything like that, but with the DS4 and the PS4, I'd plug it in after almost every session.
I connect my DualSense controller to a power bank while I play for extended hours, solves the problem!

I would get from Amazon over Catch as they will handle any issues better.
It’s a must have accessory though these are known to stop working.
My first one stopped charging the second controller within 2 months, Target thankfully replaced it on the spot.
Amazon will deliver it a lot quicker too.

Neat got a cheap solution.
Saves the usb port from coming loose and potentially losing the charging points inside with frequent plugging in and out of the cable.
Much better way to charge with the underside contacts.
Just buy a 5m play and charge cable, I play 1 session with the cable, it charges my controller whilst playing. Next session I play wireless until it needs charging. Then repeat! :D
If only wireless worked with vibrations on PC, always have mine plugged in. Can't get enough of the so called "gimmick"
