    I use these mainly as it eliminates the static/ electric shock sensation from the metal body. This gives the adapter an earth terminal

  Interestingly the picture is for a US-spec cable. The reviews do indicate this is a AU-spec one.

  If only they made a grounding pin version for the plug. Can't see why they can't make it. Forces people to buy this but it just creates bulk.

    because the power supply is double insulated there is no metal to cassis or enclose to connect the earth to …..not needed ……

      The earthing connection is the small silver metal button looking thing where the power plug connects to the power brick.
      It's not needed but having just 2 plugs causes static throughout the macbook. Becomes annoying when you rest your palms on the wrist rest

  Thank you! The stupid block is so big and falls off the power board all the time.

  I’m assuming this works with all the power blocks? (2022 16” usbc power adapter?)
