  • I just bought one. It did not show 2000 EDR Points on the receipt. Did I miss anything?

    • +1

Points may take 14 business days to be loaded onto Everyday Rewards Card from date of purchase

      • Yes, thanks, Lazy me. I just read at the top. Thank you for being helpful.

    • +1

I bought 2 on a separate purchase. The first one I got 2100 points instantly but on the second purchase I only got 100 points. I did get to use $10 off from the first purchase though

      • Did you end up getting the 2nd bonus points?

        • Just checked, no bonus points for the second purchase :(

  • How long will it take to port a number to Amaysim? Anyone knows?

    • +1

Less than one hour for me, just did it today.

  • +2

Save efforts to port out, if already on Amaysim

    $149 plan at $30 discount i.e. $119
    10% discount applied being eligible customer - $119 - $11.9 = $107.10
$10 worth points. So virtually got it for $97.10

(Wasted $4 assuming I need to port out, but keeping that vodafone sim for future)

    Already Amaysim customer.
    Chat with Amaysim support.
They applied the started pack, no hick-ups.

$8 per month including international calling. Enjoy.

    • So the $99 starter pack plan has international call included, confirmed ?

  • Does anyone know how to turn off the "call recall" feature (the one where you get sms everytime you get a missed call).

  • Just bought $9 for value $30 (50GB) sim coming with 600 points, also applied loyalty program 10% off. Total $5.1 for 50GB

  • Anyone knows when Kogan will have their prepaid plan for sale (500gb)?

  • Everyone’s experience may differ but I could not get the 10% discount as Everyday Extra member to apply to my purchase, it applied the discount but errored out during checkout.

    • +1

Bought today and can confirm I got the 10% WOW (WW mobile 10%) discount fine

  • i have this plan purchased last year and it is now going to expire but i kept autorenewal off so what will happen if i don't renew ? i have some top-up credit worth $8 i think… will my phone continue to work using that credit or will it stop ?

i am waiting for June sale so prefer to wait until then before buying any new deals… !

    • Same as you mate - I'm waiting for that EOFY sale!

Basically it will STOP working and you will only get SMS texts until the date listed when your credit expires and then they will disconnect your number. It will not use the $8 - but YOU can click to "change plans" and select the PAYG plan at the bottom of the list and then it will use your $8 if you want - but you will LOOSE any banked data if you do that and change plans (though you have probably used it up as you are planning to leave and join again as a new customer when you get a new pack in the sale?).

      • However, you can convert it to PAYG and ride it out until you hit a bargain
So, you will still get normal text & incoming calls - no cost, pay only for outgoing calls/text/MMS etc

  • Cashback showing $17.50 cashback on 60gb 12 months Sim, which is reduced to $99.00

  • +1

Buying directly from amaysim is cheaper. $100 for 180GB 365 days.

    • looks like $200 to me or have I missed a 1/2 price event that is now over?

      • There was a flash sale.

I thought we’d seen an end to those kind of discounts but they still happen I guess

  • How long can i keep the sim before start using 3 months, 6 months?

    • The sim pack says must be used within 12 months of purchase

  • Does this stack with Everyday rewards "shop to collect xx points" offers?

  • Is this still available?

  • For everyone asking when this has to be activated by: I went into a Woolworths store yesterday and had a look on the sim pack and it said "Activate sim within 12 months of purchase". I would keep the receipt as proof of purchase though.

    • I think it is 3 months if asked through online chat. My sim got activated when i checked out.

      • Your sim gets activated to say what date it was purchased on at Woolworths, its my belief that as according to the Amaysim pack you must "Activate sim within 12 months of purchase. Maybe online chat need to get their facts right!

  • Bought this on 04/06/2023 and it was $119 for 60GB. (normal price)

    • +3

Then you should complain. This photo from a WW store yesterday clearly shows that the $99 price on the $119/60GB SIM pack is supposed to run until 4 Jul.

      • Thanks for the share. Will make a complaint.

      • Legend thanks for the pic post

    • Bought today and confirm it was still $99 and I got the 2000 points instantly.
The activation receipt (small docket showing activation successful) shows $119 as that is what the product is listed as but the long till receipt with all your groceries listed shows it as $99 and I was only charged $99 (actually less as I used the 10% WOW/WW mobile discount).

      • I didn't get the 2000 points instantly have to ring them 16 days later to get it.

  • Cheaper going to amaysim direct.

    • +1

The Woolworths Amaysim variant is better if you want the unlimited international calls & texts to selected countries.

  • Has any receive the reward points yet?

  • Was just in my local woolworths and the $149 for $119 with 2000 everyday rewards points was back.

  • Interesting that Woolies (& Coles) don't have Amaysim SIMs on their website or catalogue.
Also, $149 SIM? Amaysim show the 12 month SIMs as $120/60Gb, $200/180GB.
What do you get with the $149 SIM?

    • EDIT..
Just been at Coles and it seems they don't have Amaysim 12-month starter SIMs.
At least there weren't any on display.

    • I don't think they ever have because they can't be bought online and are an "in store only purchase".
They do go in the catalogue only when they are on specials. My local Woolies had plenty in stock of all.

  • Was at the Woolies today, $149 pack was not on sale.

    • $119 Starter pack between 17/5/23 and 4/7/23, or $149 Starter pack between 17/5/23 and 6/6/23

    Reception is rubbish.

    • Really? I find Optus to be better then Telstra in my area.

  • Is the 2000 points available on the 99 plan or just the 119, thanks guys.

  • Honestly the Coles $99 deal pretty happy with so far, 85GB, decent speed, able to stack with spend $80 for 2,000 flybuys ($89 after discount)
