Why would anyone pay almost $10kg for dog biscuits? Buy 2x400g tin of tuna, 1kg of carrots, rice/pasta and a tin of tomatoes. Chuck it in pressure cooker. Boom. Cheaper and healthier, less stinky dogs!
Ok so bare with me here where I say a single word that will explain why.
Time
Time is money? The process I described is hardly time intensive.
it's not overly time intensive, but everyone has different time constraints in their lives and 30 minutes here and there add up. There's also the cognitive load to consider. For a lot of people it's just easier to order a bag of food once every few months and not have to think about it.
