    Switched to ING

What's the most you can move out of the new UBank app in one go?
Time to get out of there and go somewhere else.

    • +3

$20k per day without having to call them.

      • Do you know if you call them can you set a higher transfer rate for a few days? or is it just for a one time transfer?

        • Not sure TBH, they should be able to raise the limit to $250k but I have no experience with these type of $amounts, unfortunately…

        • it s good only for the day till midnight the day you call.

    Good bye Ubank, Hello Virgin!!!

Lots on here seem to forget that banks are profit making entities, not charities. Don’t like the rate? Vote with your wallets and take your money elsewhere

  • +5

Yep, out as well, crappy up/downgrade recently and worst customer service, absolutely looking after their profits and not customers.

Disappointed ubank. A neg from me.

    Bye bye Ubank, hello ING.

In the process of transferring everything to ING. is anyone having issues finding the Australian ING app on the Play Store? My phone is Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Edit: Never mind, it is finally showing on Play Store

for these who neg this deal, did you neg the CBA 4.25% rate?

yes, it is not the top competitive rate at the moment but still worth posting.

  • Can i see my daily interest earned in the app?

  • +1

yes, unhappy with paltry (token) rise. They could not care less really.

  • Yeah noticed they started slowing down with their rates. What a pity. Time for BOQ.

    • Yes they are on top but BOQ did the exact same thing and only increased by 0.15%

      • Thanks for the heads up. Will keep an eye on it.

  • Waited for UBank announcement for half a month and so disappointed for not passing on the full 0.25 points on savings. Shouldn't have raised home loan rates to full as well to be fair. Best is to move out now and keep my funds somewhere else until you realise to be competitive again.

  • That's what you get for being to passive on your passive income.

Just opened ING accounts…all that was required was my TFN…..took all of 3 minutes….bye Ubank after 10+ years.

ING pay are paying 5.25% with no hoops in first month for being a new customer.

    Gotta be happy with that!

  • 17% increase on already record profits NAB! Yeah nah… .15% increase doesn't pass the
    pub test

  • Good bye Ubank

  • Guys i just opened an account with Ubank, where are you going to after leaving Ubank? ING?

    • +1

      BoQ, Virgin Money, AMP ?

    • +2

Have an account open with a few of them and you can move your money to whoever is higher.
      * ING has the highest rate, but has the most hoops & a low limit of $100k
      * AMP is good at the moment with the least hoops, but was behind on interest rates for a while.
      * BOQ/Virgin are also good but with significant hoops (not as bad as ING). Virgin locked saver is good if you are happy to lock your money away (possibly after using up your 100k limit at ING.

I'm giving this deal a plus because I think it's unreasonable for one bank to always have the highest rate. Ubank has been good. They can't always be top.

  • Anz plus and Ubank least hoops

  • Is the max balance double (500k) for joint accounts?

  • If you have to call customer service for anything that you cannot do online be prepared for very long waits. That includes increasing daily limit or cancelling PayID for example.

  • +1

Well, lets see how much they move with the just announced June rise - if they only do 15 bp again, the differential to ING/Virgin/GSB etc is going to be enough to shift quite a few people I think.

    • They increased it to 5%

    Bye bye Ubank.
Not passing full 0.25% and then also making us wait nearly one month for the rate rise.. no thanks!
