I wouldn't say that FFalcon is "backed by TCL". While it is the same manufacturer, TCL is backed by a 3 year warranty. FFalcon is NOT backed by a 3 year warranty… it has the same unsatisfactory 1 year warranty as most other manufacturers like samsung, lg etc etc.
Do not forget the implied statutory warranty

I made the mistake of purchasing this TV and returned it after a month of absolute frustration.
The processor is so underpowered that the horrible crappy OS is incredibly slow, even for simple things like changing the channel which had a 4-10+ second delay after pressing a button on the remote. Crashing and freezing to the point where the TV would become completely unresponsive and need to be switched off at the power point was a daily occurrence.
The backlight also frequently went very dark then bright, pulsating, when watching certain content in darker scenes.
I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, so the cheap price sucked me in, but this particular model is just unusable.
The 55" is $449.10
