I was shopping around for protein powder and noticed Chemist Warehouse were doing half off for their range of Musashi products. Ordered 2kg of 100% whey protein and some Vitamin D capsules via click and collect and had them in hand in less than an hour. Pretty good deal in my opinion.

I strongly disagree. I find all the musashi protein bars, no matter the flavour, share this strange chemically, metallic taste. Its probably all the maltitol and glycerol.
The last one i had was the "high protein peanut butter". The taste hardly even resembled peanut. It was so masked by the artificial sweetness that it actually tasted of nothing - metal spoons perhaps.
Bah so annoying. Been waiting for a special on these but ended up getting INC brand yesterday which tastes horrible in comparison. Now I have to force myself to finish it.
I feel your pain. Couldn't find anything below $30 per kg for my previous batch and ended up pulling the trigger on myprotein. It was a slog to get through!

Is musashi protein better than Aminoz? Taste or nutritional content?
Haven't tried Amino Z so I can't help you with the taste but their 100% Whey is also a blend of whey concentrate and isolate. Looking at their ingredients and nutritional information, it seems to be on the same level with Musashi.
Hmmm no more free shipping, have to actually go down there now, and all the stores near me are out of stock of something I want.

Did an online delivery last night. The Musashi protein bars are on sale as well. They taste better compared to Quest, maybe on the same level as Grenade or just a touch below.
