    Stock is still available,

    Thanks, OP!!

Traded in old Note 10 Plus for $110 + $400 bonus
    Used newsletter $50 voucher
    Used 10% loyalty code
    Used S22SHOPB code
    Cashrewards - 3% cashback

The shopback code was playing up but managed to get it working after several attempts. The final checkout price was $624.57 delivered + cashreward.

  • Phone received today.

Have email Asurion to confirm charges if I dont send back traded phone. No response as yet.

Surprised that the S22 Ultra is barely larger screen size than my S20 FE 5G

    • Ditto - same upgrade. To me, the phone and screen feel much bigger.

      Quick comparison:

      • Heavier
      • The screen is also a higher resolution so there is much more info on screen
      • A quick try of the camera in low light conditions shows a decent improvement
      • It's also nice having a stylus again
      • The curved screen is nice but also annoying for screen protectors.
      • The fingerprint reader is much better

Was it worth it? probably not for me.

Please let us know how you go with a response from Asurion.

Verbatim response from Aurion <[email protected]> re not returning traded phone:

        Thank you for your inquiry.

If you wish to not return your old device, you will be charged the full trade-in credit (the amount you got offered for your old device). After this it will no longer be a requirement to return your old device to us. You will be charged an additional $60 admin fee for not returning the device.

We hope that this information has been helpful.

        • Awesome, thank you

      • I have to say I am a little underwhelmed by the difference between the S22 Ultra and S20 FE 5G

However at least I have a new warranty and a fresh battery…

        • I completely get what you mean. The S20FE is an awesome phone even now.

  • OOI, what are the consequences of not sending a phone back (beyond the trade in value + admin fee)?

Is there the possibility of blacklisting from future trade ins? Though, I have seen a few threads mentioning doing it multiple times.

  • I think the Shopback and Cashrewards voucher no longer working

    • You mean this code 'S22SHOPB'??

  • Anyone successfully got the 10% from sending request to that email? Or most via phone or chat. Promo ends 31/5 and I just saw this :(

  • Few issues I like to mention on the S22 ultra (purchased last week from the same trade-in deal).

These are comparisons against my 5-year-old Huawei Mate 10 pro.

    1. The signal strength is horrible.
    2. The battery drains fast (which could be caused by the weak signal).
3 On-screen fingerprint reader is not as fast as the back of the phone fingerprint reader of Mate 10 pro.
  • Price is showing $1799, not $1299 for 128 GB model?

      Ends 31/5

      • damn, didn't see that bit anywhere unfortunately

        • I saw than and get everything, voucher/discount code etc, but ended up buying pixel 7. S22u is a little too big to me, and both phone have this and that issues. Got p7 for 471, 62% of s22u. I upgrade mobile every 2 years anyway, i'd like to save some cash in my pocket.

          • @ce5himm: I like big screen, but my pocket is limited especially my uniform pocket.

Party is over, no more $500 discount
