    Just FYI - thr airwrap is useless. Got one for my missus who has fine straight hair and the curls fell out immediately. It's all hype fueled by reviews from "influencers" who have received a free unit.

      I have very straight, fine Asian hair, and my curls last throughout the day with the Airwrap - something that I couldn't achieve with regular curlers. I think your missus should watch a few Youtube tutorials, cause that made a world of difference for me when I first started out.

      To all the people saying my missus needs more practice…… We both tried it….. No good. Watched plenty of YouTube clips and none of the tricks worked. This is a shotty product.

      My partner uses an airwrap and swears by it.
      Feels like the sort of thing you take a bit of time to work it out and it pays dividends.

      Did you get it from Dyson? If so, there's a 45 day money back period - would definitely recommend.
      I agree that thinner haired people often find that hold doesn't work as well, but it does do a great job for people with thicker hair. I think the advertising should reflect that.
      If you're in a capital city, would highly recommend having the missus drop by DJ/Myer to see one of the stylists, they often have tips that can help it work better.

      Just FYI, the air wrap has a learning curve associated with it to get it right. And it definitely doesn’t work well with dry hair. It is best done on towel dried hair. And it takes time to get it right. But once you get a hang if it’s pretty good. Is it overpriced, yes. But it’s definitely functional and does what it says. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you, but subjective experience we had and few of our friends tells us otherwise. For the record we had one of this regular curlers, air wrap is bit faster to work with and does lesser damage than the regular one, though we did not observe air wrap to be longer lasting (I guess the durability is a function of nature of hair rather than the product).

    Got the supersonic hair dryer 6 years and it is still going strong
    highly recommended
    It used to be below $400 in eBay though, I bought it for $375 back then

    3 years ago got another refurbished one for $350 in eBay and also working perfectly (using it daily)

      the old attachments are one direction and these new ones can be switched… YouTube reviews say the coanda effect is not as good (but still good lol) on the new ones due to the bidirectional build of it.

    Wanted the Dyson hair dryer since it was first released when the RRP was about $450 which I thought it was too expensive. Held back buying one until now when the RRP is $650 and with the 30% discount dropped the price back to the original RRP.

    I’m one of “those” people who got an Airwrap for free in return for a glowing review. Well, don’t bother. They are a complete waste of money, bench and cupboard space. My hair is both thick and thin strand and the curls didn’t hold using the Airwrap. I sold it on eBay for a decent amount and went back to blow drying my hair with a Parlux (circa 2016 model), then finishing/curling it my my ghd gold (circa 2011 model).

            @evasive: oh yes, i received it this weekend and it works well. the canister has a lot of dirt that the v10 wouldn't have got probably.

            i'm just annoyed that the complete bundle doesn't come with the wall dok, i would prefer that one over the stand that is included.
