    If you want a moped, buy moped. Or dirt-bike.

    This is a motor-assisted pedal MTB. It will get you up the hill climbs much faster than a normal MTB, so you get more time on the fun downhill parts.
    …oh, who am I kidding. They will mostly be used in the suburbs :)

  Progear are clearing out a mid motor bike with decent components for $1800. Rebadged XDS Advance E-MTB. Decent city runabout.

  Appears to be an OEM Bafang motor with 100nm according to their Chinese site. Brakes are Tektro M285. Battery cells are Panasonic 12.8ah/460wH and 3A charger. Shimano RD-M6000 Deore 10 speed Shadow Plus up back, plus a rear rack and lights.
