Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 16" WQXGA 240Hz i7-13620H RTX4070 $3,039 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

70

Reasonable price for a 4070 thin laptop, basically inherits the 2022 M16 chassis.

Can't seem to find it on the ASUS site, I wonder if this is either a listing error or JB Hifi exclusive. Either way seems like a reasonable deal.

The i7-13620H is effectively a i7-13700H with 4 less "E" cores.

    • True.

Personally I can't consider anything but 16:10, the chin on 16:9 screens is just too much.

Also this model is ~400grams lighter.

      • Then get the Legion for $200 less

Better CPU, double the RAM, double the storage, better quality display etc etc

And at $2.8K, this is still not worth posting on OzBargain

        • What would you recommend for around $2k for video editing? 15-16"

            @LukeOz83: A MacBook Pro

Whether you have to go second hand to land one at $2K is a separate question

            • @Look Up: Cheers. And anything not Apple?

              • @LukeOz83: Not up to date with content creator PC laptops

Mobile video editing is one area where all the advantages of Macs work well

  • Just normal special, personally priced to high for me

  • 8g vram in 2023 with this price is oof

Remember that this line is meant to be ultra portable, which means WAY lighter than most alternatives while still performing quite well

They are generally pretty well engineered machines, but yes expensive

Exactly, you have to be in the market for this type of Laptop.

It doesnt have an overt gamer-y look either.

    Hi!,

I'm looking for something like this, but I have read in this website that this is so overprice, and there are coming sales of 30'series GPUs soon.
My question is where I can find laptop with rtx 3080 or 3070? I look online and I couldn't find them. And the second question, is this type of laptop really overprice or is just the right price and everything just got expensive?

    Thanks
