Yes. it's not the exact same as the original except in the sense of box art and it's a v2
The original came with a gamecard in a case too
Yeah, basically the only difference is box art and version of switch. V2 has the extended battery life.
There must be excess of the "limited stock" at Nintendo of the original model.
I believe Nintendo re-released this model to go along with the Mario movie.

You get a brand new switch and digital copy of the game. I'd say it's an okay price. But with the new picofly mod.. Id say there's better options ;)

@ihuntbargains: Picofly appears to be compatible with v2, so your point is that there could be more cost effective ways to get the game itself?
@a22andrew: I'm not suggesting you obtain games via it… ;) I'm just saying its a tool that is there. So "unpatched switches" or the 50%+ DOA rate hwfly aren't the only options for getting "more" and saving "more" on your switch now.
As far as I know they work on all models except maybe lite.

The PSP's life ended 'short' because of rampant piracy. Sure, it had a few good games (personally can count them with one hand) but there was potential for so much more rather than new games with rehasehed skins… because the market died down due to piracy.
@ram4ram: The psp can not be compared to the nintendo switch.
First, we're nearing the EOL for the switch anyway. It has maybe a few years left on being the current switch console.
Secondly, the psp wasn't sony's main focus and doing multiple consoles (minus different versions e.g. pro, slim etc) hasn't worked for basically any console maker.
Lastly, the 3ds requires no hardware modification to hack and "try games without paying" yet the eshop only just shut down purchases.. over 12 years after the 3ds launched.
The picofly requires hardware modification.Nintendo will be just fine.
OLED model is better if you want to take it on the road, if only on TV, they are the same.

It's a good price. But in my opinion Nintendo done a huge mistake with this bundle. Why they released a Super Mario Bundle without the OLED model and without themed console?
