  Thanks for posting but when I go to add these DLC it says I need Train Simulator classic (rather than TGV Voyages train simulator)

    All of these DLC require the paid base game to actually use. TGV Voyages Train Simulator is a standalone game that has no DLC.

      On Epic, you cant even claim the DLCs unless you have the base game in Epic already…

  BTW for those with a 100% free Steam account, note that you'll probably get an error when trying to add the DLC to your account ("There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account."). Seems that you need to have purchased something in the past on your Steam account in order to qualify, which is fair enough.

    You need to have purchased Train Simulator Classic to use these DLC so if you haven't bought that game you won't run into that problem anyway.

      No, you don't — like OP mentioned in the description, TGV Voyages Train Simulator is currently free on Steam as well. (yes, add the free base game to your account in order to use the DLC)

        You're completely wrong. All the DLC listed here require the base games. There's Train Simulator Classic and Train Sim World 2 and 3. Without paying for those, all the DLC listed here are unusable.

        Having a limited Steam account makes no difference to being able to add them to your account.

        TGV Voyages Train Simulator is a standalone game without any DLC, and playable for free if you add it to your account.

  Aah, thanks for posting the above information. It probably explains why when I try to add any of these, I get:

  'An error was encountered while processing your request:

  There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account.'

    I was wrong, turns out you need to own the corresponding base game in order to be able to add the DLC. See Skylex's comment above for the full details.
