There's always a better promotion if you can wait. I'd wait at least for $50.

    • I’ll wait for at least $100. They need to pay me to use it.

I got an offer for $30 before my subscription ran out and I declined. Not worth it unless they bring $50 back…

Same, declined the subscription last week and got a $30 offer.

        Same, hoping for better offer

      same

    • So you basically want the subscription for free? The entitlement..

      • Sure, I do. Get very little out of the subscription compared to say Amazon Prime. It’s spotty as to whether sellers offer free shipping through it and prior to Plus many of them were offering free shipping before hand.

If we want to have the “entitlement” discussion, I feel we can equally apply that to eBay for wanting end users to pay a subscription for service offerings that for many components were already there before hand. That’s ontop of the fact it’s third party sellers dealing with actual sales, shipping while also paying eBay a fee (so it’s not like eBay didn’t already get a part of the pie).

Pretty clear they saw Amazon making bank and wanted a piece of it, while offering something many people don’t find all too compelling and arguably was achieved by making their non-subscription experience worse by gatekeeping promotions etc.

        • Keep dreaming. Do you also expect handouts from other areas of your life? Free groceries perhaps because well, Colesworth can afford it?

          • @magic8ballgag: No. Just as i also don’t expect shopping at eBay to be free either. Doesn’t mean eBay plus is good value for consumers, particularly when they don’t even do fulfilment. At the very least if they’re going to charge consumers to access special discounts, they should regulate the marketplace to prevent the price hiking that occurs anytime coupons go out.

Too late haha, not the best deal as in the past you can have gotten close to profiting on the sub alone

    • It may stack with this plus SB $15. Only eligible users can tell.

The best was late last year $4.99 annual with $20 and $80 vouchers plus SB $15.

I got the $9.99 annual subscription recently. I’m not even sure how I did it

    • +1

Mine just expired, $30 wasn't enough incentive. Going to check if I get this $9.99 offer every now and again.

  • I guess one just needs to test to be considered as someone who has a great buying history 🙃

    • I am "forced" to sign up again ;-) , using this deal as no better deal exists. Never paid full price so far. Can confirm the voucher is issued immediately after signing.

  • Do you still get the 30 day free trial with this?

  • Does anyone know if this will stack with Shopback ebayplus cashback?

  • Signed Up, however, have not recieved the instant $20

  • I signed up and did not receive the $20 voucher

    • I just did. but no voucher. did you receive yours?

      • Nope, escalated to customer support and still waiting for an outcome

        • I spoke to online chat about it and they said I'd receive it in mid September. Nothing eventuated (which was expected tbh).
