I have been putting off signing back up to eBay Plus since their deals, offers and coupons have gone downhill (something something Jack), but I figured I would take another look today and see if any new offers have come up.

I clicked on the eBay Plus tab on my account and found a banner at the top of the page so it could be targeted, but you might also be able to talk to eBay Chat and see if they can work some magic for you.

Its not as good as the previous deal for $4.99, but its still better than paying full price or only getting a $20 voucher.

So go check your account and emails.

  • Offer Period. This offer commences at 10:00am AEST on 1 May 2023 and is available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.

        you would need to cancel in ebay directly. A payment cancellation at paypal wouldn't even be relayed back to ebay. It merely stops paypal from paying out the next time ebay tries to charge you.

          You also need to check it a couple of days prior to cancellation as eBay is known to re-instate/reverse your cancellation if it is cancelled early

            @MuddyClear: can they do that? I would be really surprised if a 3rd party can reverse your payment cancellation with paypal. I have done this quite a few times and would be mighty pissed if they did this.

    My Ebay Plus membership expired last week and I hadn't renewed, then got the banner. I still use Ebay occasionally when Amazon is too expensive and I want something delivered relatively quick, so this is handy.

    Edit: Cancelled it right after signing up, so that it won't renew. Was offered a $30 voucher to keep Plus active until after my membership end date. Declined, as deals like this or the $4.99 one work out cheaper if you can get them.

    83c per month. Reckon you could make the $10 back on a deal or two, no? Seems like a good deal. I'm assuming you can cancel after signing up so it doesn't automatically charge you at the end of the year?

    I also had an eBay Plus account some months ago, signed up to get a DELL monitor, then cancelled. Any issues re-signing up or is it only for new customers ?

      You will see the $9.99 charge on the sign-up page, assuming you are logged in with no eBay Plus active.

      You dont have to commit before seeing if you have the offer.

    eBay keep the refund when you use a voucher. So if you buy a dud item and get a refund, when you rebuy the item, it's at full price (as the voucher is now gone). Dodgy as….

    Can't use a plus voucher when equivalent cash back is offered through SB etc…so gain nothing. Well, actually worse off, as you would get a full refund when not using a plus voucher.

    Summary, plus is rubbish.

      This has been my experience but after chatting to ebay plus customer service for a while and explaining id like some service for the fee they re-instated the voucher

      Shouldn't have had to demand it back but I guess at least they caved eventually

    $10 is decent for eBay Plus, I do use it sometimes and the return they offer is decent.

    Plus free postage I read for eBay plus members, and $5 monthly voucher etc

    Based on quality and delivery speed and prices I still vote Amazon rather than eBay plus.

      sometimes there are good prices item without jack and them ebay give $15-20off, and if you claim TRS you get 10% from before the ebay discount which means double dip

      And $5 voucher only apply if you buy more than$50

      There are two $5 vouchers per month. You can spend $15+ and get $5 off any item and $50+ for $5 off any eBay Plus seller's item. At least that's what I have had all along but YMMV.

          I'm not sure, I used the below link, after I logged into Cashrewards and then Ebay in Firefox (PC).

          Then I pressed join now, and made sure the payment was for only $9.99.

          It probably didn't track in Cashrewards as Subscriptions don't attract cashback.

          Maybe log in using the Cashrewards Andriod App and then into Ebay and then type in the above address and see what happens.
