    i think what you're asking is if your bill is more than the gift card, can you pay the balance by other means (ie. credit card or cash).

    Like what the others have replied, the answer is YES. I've done it myself. The restaurant that I went to was even nice enough to check the balance for me online on my cards and sorted it out accordingly.

  For those who are wondering, you may combine this offer with your gold entertainment card (http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/).

  I've rang up a few places when they had this similar deal, with mixed responses. Of course ended up going to the restaurant that accepted both, Red Spice Road (famous for their pork belly), and it was yum! So for potential extra savings, but make sure you confirm with the restaurant(s) first.
