I know eufy is not the most secure given the recent breaches and so forth. But for the price I think this is a pretty good deal if you just need a camera to put at the front door.

      No and don't believe their promise of "future" support. For example, the Home Base 2 was advertised as having expandable USB storage back in 2020 but it never came (it destabilised the system apparently) - they want you to buy the HB3 instead [source]

        No. Optional cloud subscription. Storage is local and requires a home base. Add your own SSD.

        Edit: actually it maybe on the camera itself still. Home base support outstanding ?
