I wish I had the patience to wait for these deals, unfortunately I did a big amazon shop earlier this week.

  • +1

I wish they had this today so we can combine with Westpac offer!

    • -1

This is CrapRewards, isn't it, not ShopBack? Or does CrapRewards have Westpac deals as well?

  • Amazon devices always have the biggest cashback. Spy machines, funny that.

  • +2

Any current Amazon gift card deals?

  • +8

Be aware that Amazon is no longer offering free postage for return due to change of mind.

    • +5

Never have a problem with prime, are you talking about non-prime return?

      • Yes i m a non prime member

      • Agreed, they don't even ask me half the time why.

    • +2

They never had it. The only ones with change of mind returns are the clothing and shoes that specifically states FREE RETURNS

They just typically turn a blind eye when you return with some "fault" or issue, but they will start charging if you abuses it.

      • It's the seller that pays returns.

  • -1

can payment with giftcards still get cashback?

    • +11

      What did the terms say?

      Cashback is eligible for:

Purchases of products in an eligible category paid with gift cards.

  • TnC says 0% category are ineligible. While the description says 1% for all 0% categories.

So is it ineligible or all Amazon at least 1% + cash back ?

    • +4

I knew that would get someone. The now 0% categories will be 1% categories when this deal goes live.

  • When does Amazon's mid year sale start? Hoping for a price drop on the fire sticks, would be a sweet double dip with the cashback.

    • Prime day is probably in July, there will be plenty of notice.

    • +1

Yeah I'd wait. Last year they had 2 x 4K ones for like $59 or something.

  • Does this work for 'Used - Very good' etc items?

  • +1

All the goodies are 0% categories these days

    • One day Amazon will compete with all those 0 being available in Ebay 20-35% stacked deals .

  • +1

Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

    wtf? why…

    • +7

As always, a click needs to be registered and associated to the cashback provider. On Amazon this isn't possible if it already either in your cart or wish list.

Just search for items in your list and add it to your cart and it will track the cashback as per normal once you finalise your purchase.

      • +1

        thanks, makes sense I guess

  • How can you tell what category an item belongs to when browsing in the Amazon app?

    • +1

You can't. You need to use desktop mode on phone for website

  • how long does it take for cashback to be pending?

    • +2

      Tracking takes 24 hours.

  • Anker or SoundCore included?

  • Backpacks?

    • +1

Also curious on this, or are laptop backpacks excluded as they are technically luggage but under the computer category.

        • Hi. Please see my comment here that should help define the category of your purchase. Thank you.

          • @tightarse: The example images in your post looks different to the way this item is displaying in that top menu. Below it it says Clothing, Shoes and Accessories.

Is this item under the latter or the Sports and Outdoors category? It is unclear and I am hoping it is in an eligible 20% category.

  • I have purchased 2 items from 2 categories. If I cancel one of the items, will I be eligible for the $5.00 bonus? The total exceeds $50.00. Also, will I still be eligible for the regular cash back? Thanks.

    • If both were in same transaction, it will void the entire cashback from experience.

Best to cancel the entire transaction and reorder

  • Pretty annoying you cant have things in your list before reactivating the cashback because what i find on the amazon site with cashrewards sometimes new windows are opened especially if you are adding multiple items and you search or click on another product. At which point you need to reactivate cashrewards but then everythign on your list before isnt counted….

  • What is the cashback for the purchase after first purchase in which you get all $30?

  • I purchased a shoes and household stuff totalling to more than $50 in one transaction, only the household stuff is tracked. What the ??

    • +1

Hi. Amazon splits transactions at item level, and they're still reporting to Cashrewards as we speak (based on category of item). So if the second item you purchased is in a different category to your first, you’ll need to be patient until it tracks later. Hope this helps. Thanks.

      • Oic thank you

      • Hi TA, I purchased a pair of $40 shoes, Ships from Amazon AU, Sold by Amazon AU
But it's only tracked as Total spent: AUD$36.36 Cashback $7.27
I've another $11.99 item in the same order (to make up $50 spent for the $5 bonus), which was tracked as GST included $11.99.

Why was the pair of shoes tracked as GST excluded?

        • Please don't worry. Amazon reports most items ex-GST. See dot point 3 in my post here. Any issues with bonus approval down the track, just let me know :)

          • @tightarse: Thanks, I understand I will still get the bonus
I am just a bit confused why do I only get $7.27 cashback for the pair of shoes, not $8.
I thought only international items are tracked as GST excluded and all local items are tracked as GST included.

            • @TanedaR: No, Amazon AU reports ex-GST - always has. See here.

              • @tightarse: I see, but the 2nd item in the same order was tracked as GST included, is that because it's a 3rd party seller?

                • @TanedaR: Quite possibly. But if you were lucky enough to get an item report as inc GST, then just be happy as the norm is ex GST :)

      • Tracked now

        • Thanks for confirming. Enjoy your day :)

  • Hi will there be any increase cashback to start July? for Premium Beauty in particular? Thank you.
