Not so excited by this month's offerings!
Keen to try out JWE 2, but I usually play these types of games on PC so I'm curious how I'd go with a controller

tldw; shallow gameplay and combat, good story and aesthetic, a must for fans of 19th C B&W samurai films
Jwe2 is a great game. Easily the best of this bunch and one of the better games for Playstation Plus released this year. Really enjoyed it.

Oh, had Trek to Yomi on my list for a while. Was waiting for a sale with a steep discount because by all reports it's more style than substance, so this is a good outcome for me.
Jurassic World I'll at least take a look at. NBA I DGAF.
I'm new to this. I know the free games are available on the first tuesday of each month, but at what time?

No problems! Got my times wrong and the games are now live :)
So im reading that NBA has an install of over 150GB. Ouch! Wont be playing that.

The playstation store is a steaming pile of junk and links are often not available to link to when deal is posted. There are also always multiple dead links that link to the game, but where the price shows as full price and not as the free monthly game. It's pretty annoying.

And finally, if you go to the "Whats new on playstation plus" section of their website, despite the june monthly games being active already, if you scroll way way down the page to the "your latest monthly games" section they are STILL showing last months games (this also happens like this every month) https://www.playstation.com/en-au/ps-plus/whats-new/
Generally someone like myself will come in and comment on this months deal post on ozbargain with the correct, current, active monthly game links when they are active, usually around 8 or 9 pm, so thats probably the best place to look.

Is it because Days of Play 2023 sale coming up so Sony decided to give us those games for PS Plus in June?
