            so its closer to the 2006 model lol

    If you want a gaming mouse I personally wouldn't recommend this, the buttons on the V2 that change the speed are extremely useful for gaming and you can normally get the V2 cheap on sale.

    If you want a general mouse this is probably fine.

        I guess it depends on the games you play. I've seen a lot of praise for this mouse within the Minesweeper community but as a competitive Spider Solitaire gamer I would recommend waiting for a deal on the V2.

    on my 2nd Razer DeathAdder atm, first one lasted about 4y or so. Great mouse. Have one more unboxed stashed just in case.

    I have an old Logitech gaming mouse which has lasted the test of time…. Easily 7 year old and still not dead.

    Have a hp gaming mouse waiting on the box but yeah.

    Also v2 on my page shows $50

      That's a problem on many mice.

      You can probably take it apart and lube the points of contact with some non-petroleum based lubricant if it really bothers you… (Petroleum based stuff will melt the plastic)

      That said, both the encoder wheel and the micro switch for the wheel click are both things that have failed me on Razer mice, to say nothing of their software.
