You need to wait for a few minutes and reflesh it. The duscount price will show up unless MS blocks this error.

Did it , seemed to have worked. I can't download the ultimate edition bits on Xbox though which is concerning, ie the free DLC and stuff. Also how long does the cancellation/refund take? I just used CC curious if anyone got a quick refund?

Yeah, Reddit seems to suggest they might cancel it from previous experiences.
Payment option shows up for me ok for Ultimate but for some reason actual billing just won't go through. Tried different browsers etc so might give it a whirl at home.
I couldn't purchase the reduced price Ultimate edition with the "big green button". I had to first add it to cart and check out that way.

Payment kept declining with Amex until it randomly went through once for the normal ed, then had to switch to Visa cc to get the ultimate ed. Payments on Microsoft site have been a pain in the arse for a while now.
Yep same thing here. When going to install it on thI e console however it says 'content unavailable right now' under the ultimate edition. However does say I own it and was able to install standard edition.
Even if the revert back to standard edition - $44 is a great price.

Took them over a year to discount D2R. Blizzard don't release that many games so they try to ride it for awhile before doing any sales. Physical copies are a different story though.

Trying to view the ultimate edition content on the console doesn't show. trying to add it to cart is having issues etc.

Mine didn't work with paypal but worked with a credit card. But yeah I am not cancelling my Amazon preorder yet as I think this will get cancelled.
I can install the standard edition but error comes up when I try to install the ultimate edition. They may have blocked it.
Still, $44 is a good price for standard.

You're able to install the ultimate edition then? Mine only allows me to install either the standard or the digital deluxe edition.
I went to the Ultimate Edition page and clicked on Install, and allowed me to pick the console. But I didn't click it, did you get that far?

Yeah, I pressed install for the Ultimate Edition, but in the queue it has the standard edition icon, I thought it would be the ultimate icon?

@RocketSwitch: Its an "add-on", for benefit of doubt, go to your billing order and it will have 2 separate icons.
@cloudie9: Yeah, it's there in the billing section and in the store says manage this item. After it downloads I'll see, but it might only appear when the game has launched in add-ons in the system.

I got the same error, but adding to the cart and then check-out worked for me.
Amazon's price is $85 now for PS5, so if this goes pear-shaped, going to be paying $10 more, since it was $75 before. I still haven't cancelled my preorder since it's easy to return to Amazon.
So what happens if Xbox decide to cancel the standard version of the game, and we're left with the ultimate add-on? lol
Good case is the COD 17 where MS just honoured all the purchases.
Bad case is the Forza where MS refunded everyone.

I don't ever recall seeing Blizzard games ended up in Gamepass, let alone all of the previous Diablo series. I could be wrong.
Microsoft is currently acquiring them, it is before administrative proceedings in multiple jurisdictions, if it goes ahead obviously every activision/blizzard game will come to GP.
they have said, multiple times, that diablo iv will not be on game pass… and given the UK has blocked the aquisition and is pending appeal in June or July… don't hold your breath on this
@KRiSX: By "they", do you mean Blizzard? Maybe they have said something else but the last quote i saw was "we have no plans to bring it to Game Pass at this time" or something along those lines. Now, that is not the same as "it will not be on game pass", which is what you said. Obviously, they are not going to say "yeah it might come to GP" lol because then less people would buy it. So read between the lines of the quote "no plans at this time" is very different from "it's not coming", it means if they are acquired it's going straight to GP, just like happened with Bethesda.
Secondly, every other jursidiction approved the transaction and i understand the one you referred to in the UK is about to be overruled by an administrative tribunal in that particular jurisdiction also.
@KRiSX: If Microsoft owns ABK the game will go on game pass without a question, they have even said this. You might've heard Blizzard saying it's not coming to game pass that's because they aren't owned yet and it's not as of now.

Yep. I paid with debit card and got a cancellation confirmed email, so I guess it will take a day or so to refund.
It takes 3-5 business days usually, and in some cases it'll just remove the pending charge on your account. When he says got refunded in a second, he means he got the email from PayPal that it has been refunded, however PayPal refunding to your card also takes the usual 3-5. I don't think you can ever get an instant refund, unless maybe EFTPOS?
Same as me. I ended up cancelling the standard and the deluxe. I spoke to Microsoft and just told them I decided I wanted it on PC instead. They said the money has been sent back to my account and to call my bank. Called the bank and they said the money was in the process of refunding and it could take 3 to 10 business days so hopefully it's all good. Should have kept the deluxe for $45 though as I have no game now unless I want to risk another $150 being tied up 😬
I love that they take your money IMMEDIATELY then strap the cash to a snail when sending it back.
