Hi there fellow ozbargainers, since star wars old republic is going free to play I think this is an awesome deal for an mmorpg. Shipping is charged at $4.95 so $19.90 delivery is great for Australian stock.
(totally apologies if this is a dupe, remove if thats the case)

  Free to play means that it will be completely free with a cash shop. You won't need to purchase the game.

    You don't need to, but buying the game will still give you 30 days of full subscriber privileges.

    Plus it comes with the install dvds, which will greatly minimise the amount you have to download.

      There is still a large downlaod requirement even with the dvd's. A single month subscription is $14.95. This is not a good deal as the cost of delivery far outweighs having to download a few GB.

        But there is click and Collect available. So you don't have to pay delivery if you don't want to…

  ah that explains why the games going so cheap, but I guess if you don't want to download the client which is like probably more then 10 gigs then this is the second better alternative.

    ah real sorry about that, i tried to modify the link to jbhifi which charge a cheaper delivery rate, so ignore the DSE one and purchase at jb instead.

  Bioware are planning on selling "stat" items in their cash shop. Pretty controversial if you ask me. Most ppl I know are quitting cos of it. The game will be a wasteland before long. Good deal but not a good game to get on board with.
