My half-price Optus data sim plan has expired. It was $12.5 for 30GB (iirc).
I am looking for another data plan I may use with my tablet.

Get a 365-day SIM at $1 per GB or lower. Catch Connect is doing 200GB for $150.
Belong have a 15 dollar a month plan with 20GB of data and If you exceed your included data your speed will be capped at 1 Mbps.
Belong has a 100 GB for $35/month data only SIM which is almost perpetually on sale at Woolworths for $17. Valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Buy a bunch of them. At the end of the first month instead of renewing for $35, throw it away and put the next one in. Keep repeating at the end of each month.
I use the cashback offers from Cash Rewards and Shopback for Boost Mobile on my iPad. You can use any SIM plan on a tablet, not just a data one.

I have been on my current monthly plan for 3 weeks and already have the next one on my desk to activate in a few days and swap over.
It will cost me nothing, I'll get some money back each month. It may seem like an impost to activate a new SIM with a new number each month, but for me it's worth it and takes a few minutes of my time.

I was on the 12-month Tablet / Sim plan.. It was $12.50 til last month, now its $25, charged the 29th May

Last mth I bought the Amaysim 60gb a year phone plan to use with my son’s tablet for $99. Works out to $8.25 a mth. We previously had the Optus $15 data plan and they did not want to reduce the costs even when we have 3 services with them. Only when I wanted to disconnect the service they wanted to offer me the world. Told them where to go. The rest of our Optus services will be going soon as well.
Anyone have any other options for this? I was paying $12.50 a month for 30GB, but it’s now gone up to $25. Optus chat offering a $20/month plan with 20GB only. Are there any other deals for around $15/month? I also like that if you use all the GB in a month they just drop down your speed instead of charging you again.
I looked at Moose mobile it was $16/month for 1st 6 months but if you go over in the month they charge you again. I can’t be changing sims each month either like the Boost mobile deal mentioned above.
I keep this SIM in a TP-Link 4G router so my Dad can use internet at his home, other than his own phone’s internet. So looking at cost effective options where the I know the cost each month and it isn’t going to double if he uses all the GB in a month, currently he is using just over 30GB a month (his speed drops down when he does this) but then a couple of days later, it’s a new month. I don’t want the yearly $99 Amaysim for 60GB as it will be gone in 2 months. I don’t want any of the yearly plans for this as it will finish up in a few months with his usage.
