      Time to buy!

  • Damm $4 ?!?

  • So less chance of profit going up to $5 within the next month you reckon?

  • curious, how many sims do u guys normally buy for each deal

    • 1 to 2 depends on my data consumption

    • +2

as many as it lets me

      • This is the correct answer

  • +1

Im getting something went wrong now.

    :(

    • +12

It wouldn't be a Boost post if someone didn't say this.

Now we just need someone to ask if it can be used to recharge.

      • +1

Or someone paying off their mortgages with these deals.

        • Or someone saying they don't get out of bed unless there is a Boost deal with profit, so lame.

  • +7

    Hooooolding out for $5 or $5+ now… (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

    • +1

Me too but I need in a month's time and since the coupon is expiring today low chance of it happening soon I guess

      • exactly what I thought last night.

      • +1

You never know, they may run another coupon right/soon after.

  • +1

arrrg, just bought one 2hrs ago on the other deal.

  • Other than these Boost deal, which 28/30 day SIM is the cheapest at the moment?

    • +3

prolly the $4 for Lebara 30day/8GB/unlimitedcall/text at Coles this upcoming week

    • +2

Lyca $1 ($1 for each month till 3 months)

      • Most of the time you will have "Emergency calls only" with Lyca

        • I got no problems the activation waw a bit iffy otherwise rest pretty good

          • @USER DC: I had no problem with activation or port in

            • @Rakibul: the problem I had was I was like googling Lyca port phone something instead of going on their website for activation, and every single time on that website google took me to, it kept saying like "Please activate your sim" or something like that. That frustrated me so much- every time taking lyca sim out, putting old sim, and then lyca sim again. But luckily after like 6 or 7 time and I figured out I might be at wrong page (One needs to go to Lyca mobile's ACTIVATION PAGE not PORT NUMBER PAGE)

And also with Lyca Porting actually takes a while, (When you activate sim it almost instantly makes lyca sim active (with the original lyca sim number), but your number porting to that sim card takes 1-4 business hours IMO).

And lycamobile is only sim I had come across till today WHICH REQUIRES YOU ACTUALLY RESTARTING SIM TO GET A NETWORK SIGNAL, (most of times you can easily get away without doing anything just inserting a new sim of another company, or just turning on and off the airplane mode But NOT WITH LYCA not the biggest issue though)

Otherwise it was sweet for me too.

              • +1

@USER DC: For me activation was like instant. Then port in as like 10 mins. Easy

  • Needed to buy some for recouping LOST $$ from Zip deal because of LIARS at Boost Customer service

    thanks

    • +1

      Care to explain?

      • +3

I sacrificed one of the purchases to see if the Zip transaction would work or not that time (that one failed) because they updated terms and condition, (I thought it was just like how they had like in past $2 sim not eligible, but no it was real that time).

So went to boost CS to ask for cancellation, talked to them multiple times, but as usual they are just a bunch of liars who kept saying yes your order will be cancelled etc. etc. etc. Its in process etc.

But like 3 or 4 days after they said umm sim is on your way, order could not be cancelled, and TOTALLY denied, them ever saying me cancellation of my order has been confirmed.

What happens after the 28 days?
Do you get slugged $45 to recharge wheres the fun in that?

    • +5

Auto recharge is off by default and you dont supply any payment details to activate them….

After 28 days you chuck them in the bin and activate another one that you've picked up for free or a profit.

      • Oh so just keep buying boost sims and activating them? Can you transfer same number over sorry new to this.

        Thanks for the negs all

        • +1

I dont think you can transfer a number from Boost to Boost, people generally just use these with throw away numbers for making calls or for Data, in a second sim slot or in a modem…

        • +1

          sorry new to this

welcome to this new world of free cash

If you care about keeping your number, then you can port in and out of different providers.
If you simply need number for incoming, then you can not recharge for like 90 or 180 days after the recharge/plan expires, cannot remember how long but i think it was 6 months/180 days although I could be wrong.
So basically you got that many days to port number over to another provider.

If you dont care about the sim number, then simply activate with a new number each time, (you can ask Boost to delete/cancel your old services- but you'll need to remember the mobile phone number of that service - Because My boost app does not show the Sim numbers on your Boost ID (AT LEAST NOT TO ME- for you it may show all your numbers IDK may be I am just cursed with $h!tte$t boost experience apart from no problems in porting or using their service for incoming/outgoing)

  • does zip $10 stack with the cashrewards?

    • don't think so, since Zip and cashrewards are two separate cashback platforms (there's only so much commission to be made here, and boost's being generous as they ran plenty of "profit" cashbacks anyways)

    • Nope. Each deal you have to purchase thru the respective app. No way to combine the two.

  • +1

Bought 6, after that I started getting an error page. I think that's their informal limit, will try again in an hour and report back

  • Hmm it doesn't track for me

    • Maybe the same issue as this member?

      • Thanks for your reply. I have explicitly checked that AdBlocker is not enabled. Might wait for 7 days and submit a claim…

  • +2

The profit has been increased everyday in the last few days as expected haha

  • +1

Tracking was instantaneous, hope it's approved promptly.

    • 2-3 months.

      • +1

        Just in time for retirement.

  • shoot i forgot

    ??
Seriously Boost/Telstra service is going trash honestly

Boost used to be good, but now their service seems to even worse than amaysim given how boost is lying so much recently then like now cancelling orders because of customer being honest and exposing their lies?

    • Never received such email and I've ordered my fair share recently.. Also no issue with me getting refund as recent as this week.

Not sure why you're so unlucky with Boost CS..

      • Mine are always Tracked, activated and approved without issues, Some people just like to complain.

  • Just a note for upcoming deals, there might not be any profit to be made in future :

"Please note: We are increasing our plan prices in line with CPI from 4th July 2023, so this plan will increase by $30 for 20GB per month to $35 for 25GB."

  • asking to see if anyone ever had any issue when activating with account already having 10-20 existing number (active or expired)? I have been contacting live chat the last two days but they couldn't activate for me and are getting error on their end as well. Both of my ID didn't work. 😭

    • +2

Looks like Boost are having issues activating sims atm and I only have a few 'active' numbers. They were happy recharge an existing number for me to use 28 day plan

  • Didnt track again!
