Sorry, I don't recognise this Taiwanese product until unification.

Got one on Wednesday and they were surprisingly good! Hit the bubble tea spot and the pearls were chewy. About 130 cals each which isn't too bad.

I found these surprisingly good! I need to try the other 2 flavours.

    • it is Bubbleme Bubble Tea ice-cream, so I am sure people will work it out

  • They look very thin. Decent size?

    • They are normal size , not those “mini” bars. According to the box those magnum bars are about 84g, these are 80g?

      • Ah thanks! Yeah looked like those mini ones.
        Might try this out :)

Made in Taiwan, it’s a yes from me mate. 🇹🇼

I usually get the imei brand one but will give this a go

Taiwan has a very high rate of colon cancer, even in young middle age group.

      • +9

In Taiwan, the incidence rate of CRC is 44.32 per 100,000.

In 2022 in Australia, it is estimated that the age-standardised incidence rate will be 49 cases per 100,000 persons.

So thanks for your post which does not really add much value to anything.

            @dcep: Your post needed context.

It was inferring that people in Taiwan had a relatively high level of colon cancer due to consuming this product which happens to be made in Taiwan.

When this is not true. i.e. Misinformation.

Given it is higher in Australia, it would be silly of me to post on every ice cream deal for an ice cream that is made in Australia that 'Australia has a high level of colon cancer'.

If you are going to point out a fact, just put it in context.

And let people eat ice cream without worrying about colon cancer.

LOL. How interesting. I posted this deal about 3 weeks ago when it was last on sale and got 15 upvotes and people bagging the crap out of it. Now people seem to love it and already at 40+ votes. c'est la vie

I must off miss it, my guess is, they tried and like it.

I didn’t see that one and I spend A LOTTTTT of time on here…

And if it makes you feel better it’s all imaginary internet points :) the upvotes work in mysterious ways.

Very average tasting. I would not go for them again.

  • Less “bubbles” content than Costco ones, would rather buy from Costco

      • Unless it’s on sale recently on their catalogue or it’s on their website, the only way would be to visit and take a photo of the item

Can't recall the last time I saw 'Sugar' printed so many times in an ingredients list.

    • It's a treat so be it

Not on sale atm, but I like their make-it-yourself bubble tea kits a lot too! https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/189197/bub…

    • Lipton one is better in taste and pricing imo. Unfortunately it has been discontinued 😔

We love these but find them terribly inconsistent. Some have literally zero Boba, others are packed full of them. We've also had several that appear to have been melted and refrozen. Olive (Woolworths digital assistant) is always happy to refund though. I'd say 75% of the time they're good.

  • I had the vanilla one lastvnight and it contain 2 tapioca balls. The brownsugar one had at least 4 in them.

    • +1

It's surprisingly inconsistent, I've had one with no balls, some which are basically all ball lol.

  • +2

I'm addicted to these, so delicious and not too many calories. Just bought another 5 boxes.

  • Tried them last time, these are tasting pretty pretty bad! Wouldn't buy them again! And for food safty concern, Made in Taiwan is NAH for me, only buy Made In Australia if I can.
