    TCN previously told the OP the permitted MCCs on this gift card are actually:

    Btw, if you have a physical TCN Pamper gift card, it cannot be redeemed at any merchants using Square terminals (even if the merchant uses an MCC permitted on this gift card), because Square does not support eftpos payments from magstripes. The workaround is to use the digital TCN Pamper gift card (which operates on the Mastercard network).

      Ha good memory! I forgot I asked about this and didn't know to search for this. I wonder if elicit.org (an AI research assistant) would have helped since Bing AI search couldn't even when I added MCC into the equation.

    Has something to do with how the business is identified to their payment provider I think. ie if that day spa told their payment provider that they’re a restaurant, it probably won’t work.

    Depends on the merchant. It's not one size fits all. I think it's a manual step for most payment terminals.

      Yes. I have been using this card at my hairdresser for a couple of years. If they are helpful they just swipe more than one card.

  I wonder if you could use this for eye laser surgery, botox or breast augmentation (not for me :P )? You'd need a friend to purchase the 2nd set of cards for the other eye.

  i was going to get the card but it is maximum $500, so you can buy upto 5cards.. i wish it has a bigger number
