  • I bought a set similar to this from SAE @20 years ago (Only 1/2" BTW). The box rusted being in the carport, but everything is now in a garage.

    • Doesn't it have forever warranty?

      • I lost the receipt years ago, and my ex probably burnt it anyway.

    • Probably built better 20yrs ago than today.

  • That RRP seems a touch inflated in imo.

    • I agree but for $150 it is an excellent deal.
      The build quality is good.

Yeah these have the switches rather than the dial for direction so that in itself is a reassuring improvement over their base line offerings. Being tool pro I wouldn't touch it at anything over $120 or so.

Yeah, it screams rug sale shenanigans.

Got one at home. Ratchets in this set are pretty mediocre. I hate myself everytime I touch it.

IMO: Rather spend a little time and money to build your own metric socket only, plus some cheap flexi head ratchet (Daytona from Sydneytool not a bad choice). You'll thanks yourself later.

These are perfectly fine for home use the only thing missing is a 20mm
Make a great starter set for someone who has nothing
Where else are you going to get each piece for $1.85 in a case with an over the counter warranty ?

  • The plastic insert is trash and you will have a bunch of sockets rattling around in a tin box before you know it.

  • Prefer just 3/8" drive with long & short, metric & imp. I only use 1/2 on rattle gun. I have a 1/4" set that gets used about 2 times every ten years

  • Avoid this crap. Spend the extra 50 bucks and get a Bahco set that will last your lifetime..
