  • @luketechfast, in the description, Antec NX200M-Tempered-Glass-RGB-M-ATX should be used instead of Leaper Air Maverick case.

    • Cheers, have fixed.

      • +4

Antec website says the NX200 only comes with one fan. Is this true and is it enough? The photo on your website implies it comes with 3 fans (2 front, 1 rear).

        • It seems like it actually only comes with the one exhaust fan. Frankly comes off like an intentional attempt to mislead given that they haven't responded to your question, the photo they used has 3 fans, and then if customer complains they can say "we linked you to the manufacturer website which shows one fan". So, you should factor that extra cost in seeing as zero intake fans will almost certainly be insufficient.

          • +2

@drk-shdw: Just wanted to clarify here that the NX200M comes with 2 intake fans and a single rear exhaust fan.

            • -1

@luketechfast: Thanks for that. My mistake and apologies for the presumptuous comment.

  • Same as the previous deal, other than the case?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/776685

  • Is worth upgrading the motherboard?

    • +1

Not a lot benefit to upgrading the motherboard since the processor (Ryzen 5 5500) lacks PCIe 4.0.

B550 does have resizable bar and 3200mhz+ RAM support though, but it's not something worth paying $109 extra for.

If it was an extra $50, sure, but $109 is too much to pay for very little performance gain.

      • Thanks, would i be able to fit another SSD on the a320?

        • +1

Are you referring to NVME SSD's or regular 2.5" SATA SSD's? SATA based SSD's plug into the SATA ports (all mobos have multiples of these). This isn't the case for NVME, most motherboards may have one only, or even none.

You're going to have to ask Luke, because the motherboard manufacturer determines what features the motherboard will have. The chipset itself doesn't determine if it has M.2 slots, or multiple M.2 slots

In case you didn't know the two form factors SSD's can come in or what they look like: examples: 2.5" SSD or M.2 NVME

  • i5 12400F 4070 Gaming PC $1388 - Does this deal have wifi on the motherboard? I can't seem to see it listed as having wifi.

Looking for a computer in the range of $1200-1500 and this seems to be able to tick all the boxes?

    • If they have a wifi adapter in the customisable options then it’s likely that they don’t have wifi built Into the PCs

      • Ah bummer. Many thanks!

        • Wifi adapter is like 40 bucks in the options or less on your own so don’t let that stop you!

  • Hi OP, do you do a Ryzen 7 version of this PC?

  • Hey guys,
I dont know much about computers, is this a good deal? Would it be possible to build a pc cheaper?

My old laptop can't play Death Stranding that we got for free on epic recently, can someone knowledgeable help me build a reasonably cheap pc that can handle it?
    Thanks for your help

Just get this, will do what u want

    • May be investigate comments left by others regarding TF's dealS during May-23.

Do your OWN-research to see if you can live with the potential-weakness of this system, being,
1.Antec case poor airflow, can upgrade @ extra cost.
      2.A320 chipset Mobo.
3.'Generic' PSU & NOT efficiency rated: eg 80+ Bronze, can upgrade @ extra cost.

If you can wait, $900 should able to get you a system that don't have the above weakness, & if lucky, a gruntier CPU than this-> https://enigmapc.com.au/products/cyclone-special-edition-v3

      As a guide-> https://www.gpucheck.com/en-usd/compare/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3…

Read carefully, be on the look-out for mis-leading picture/information & must beef-up your system knowledge.

      Good luck.

@luketechfast Is there an option for : AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D for RTX 4080 option? From my understanding the CPU would be the bottleneck for RTX 4080. Otherwise is there an option to add a intel compatible motherboard and 12/13th gen i5/i7 option eg 13600kf? Also is there an option to not have any ram and SSD/HDD?

  • can I split the payment with multiple credit cards? @luketechfast

    • +1

I asked this before - no, they don't accept split payments

    • hv to wait for another vendor providing such….

  • +1

Placed my order for this the other day. How long is the expected wait for delivery in Sydney?

    • +1

Ordered on the 27th last month, still nothing, so I wouldn't hold your breath just yet on getting it next week or even week after :)

      • +4

They should change their name to TechSlow then. No way I'm waiting 2+ weeks for it just to be sent. If that happen ill just cancel it

      • do you have yours now?

  • Is this ok for photo editing use?

    • Can you use it? Definitely yes. I think its all about speed of processing. The rtx4080 would be fine but there will be bottleneck with the 5700. whether it would be better than what you have you will have to just google it. Eg speed testers. I think if OP gave a choice for alternative components it would be better

  • What's a rough estimate on processing time on these orders? e.g how long before they ship?

    • Im in WA. Ordered 24 May. Shipped on 5 June. Arrived 13 June. Runs and was packed well. Came with a white leaper maverick case instead of what was listed. I like it.

  • Can i buy this with 5700x instead? No upgrade options on the link

  • Any option to pickup to save on shipping?

  • -2

I bought a similar one last month, it was built and shipped within 2 days of payment being verified. Computer is really nice with the upgrades I asked for. Top stuff, thanks Caleb, Luke, Zac and Mitch.

  • can this case be placed horizontally? Im gonna put it under the tv in the shelf next to ps5 and consoles

    • no reason you cant run a pc on the side. just be wary of airflow wherever you are installing it. might want to beef up cooling if its in a shelf

  • Do techfast ever respond to emails or messages? Seems they have taken money that's the last I hear of them ? @luketechfast

      • +2

Ordered 2nd June, Email asking if we will receive by 21st June if not i need to find alternative solution, they say yes, it will be despatch by last week. Still nothing as of now. TechSLOW?

  • Mobo has no wifi and not able to install wifi card ? So have to use usb dongle for wifi . Is that correct ? Bit cheap

  • @luketechfast
Hi Luke, just wanted to enquire on current wait times ordering this just for expectations, is it likely to be ?20+ working days

    Regards,

  • -1

    Hi, Does this have WIFI?

  • Hi,

I never dealt with Techfast but an order placed on June 10 has not be fulfilled. Is this 'normal' as they are reluctant to provide dates as to when goods will be available.
Does anyone have a telephone number so I may call them?

    Thank you.

  • +2
