The only review is one star and says they haven't received it and no one is answering their calls.

    Buyer beware!

It says $50 shipping for me, so would be $84.50 all up.

Just read that review. Poor Lex.

      • Yup wonder what Lex is doing these days…

      • +1

Just phoned Lex to let him know that as a gesture of good will, he will get his ladder free of charge. It will be delivered next week and to call back if it doesn't come.

    • MyDeal Money Back Guarantee
Get the item you ordered or get your money back.

    • I have never ordered from My Deal. I don't know how likely they will honour the price error. I didn't order one for my self just shared for my tightasses Ozbargainers 😃

      • +1

Sold and shipped by a third party seller, unlikely to honour I'm guessing.

    • +3

Thanks. Your comment saved me feel regretted on missing on this deal. Cheers.

    • MyDeal is owned by Woolworths now so I have trust they will deliver!

  • +3

I doubt it would be honoured

    pay with paypal

    • what's the advantage here

      • easier to dispute compared to a chargeback

        • so… you get your $20 back or whatever the price error was?

nah I want the ladder, can I do a ladderback with paypal?

          • @echelon6: they refunded so nothing lost, maybe 5 seconds of my time :^)

    • +1

      yep yep

Not bad, I'm getting $50 for shipping CBD Vic. Only 1 star review with the customer complaining about not getting the item with no communication via MyDeal about the issue.

  • see what happens paid with paypal

  • bought

George Washington's secret to success: 'I cannot tell a lie, I had to buy a ladder to reach the top!'

      • But George Washington got taken down a rung or two when the order was cancelled.

  • Paid with Afterpay see what happens

You must hate your credit score lol

Edit: I see they say they don't report to credit bureaus. Interesting.

  • google review. he probably paid the 1100 though and not 84

    Flimsy very high ladder
For a ladder this high it is extremely flimsy -certainly not what I expected from Bailey -who generally have the best ladders in the business.
The bracing for the ladder is very flimsy and does not give you the confidence that it will hold you while you are up that high.
I have another 12 step access platform from bailey and it is superb and very stable -so if you are looking for a 12 step platform I don't recommend this one -get the access platform

No one has ever paid 1100 for this ladder, while 35 is a good price, the RRP is a joke.

  • Poor Lex. I hope they did not pay the RRP on the ladder. Who buys a 7 steps 2 meter ladder for over a thousand dollars anyway?

    • No one is the answer. you can get better 5-8 steps for sub $800 from even bunnings.

  • Oos

  • Grabbed one with paypal

  • +1

    Sold out now.

  • Managed to grab one. $50 delivery for Sydney metro.
Item also appears to be out of stock now.

  • +2

Someone should ring poor Lex and see if he got his $1000 ladder yet? His mobile number was on the review

    • +1

Someone has already called lex and let Lex know the good news.

  • 96.9% off nice

  • Did anyone else find any Deals on the website that really are deals?
Example of useless stuff they sell not worth the money:

    • +1

Yep, nothing on there actually looks like a good deal (maybe a few dollars here or there, but nothing stellar)

  • +1

    That RRP!

    • +1

Yeah RRP price it's a bit of a joke. But if it gets honoured for $34.50 + Delivery (I think $50) = $84.50 all up it's a good deal. Let's see what happens.

  • Damn! Missed out!

why say "Probably a price error."

when its clearly a pricing error?

    • +1

Probably the same reason media outlets use the word 'allegedly' when reporting on serious crimes, even when there's concrete DNA evidence, hundreds of witnesses, video evidence of the perpetrator and an electronic data trail.

Because until someone actually receives the product it might not be true.

      • plenty of other online stores are selling it around the same price as the "alleged" RRP

  • Not the cheapest ladder I've seen on here…

  • +5

A lot of people surprised about the RRP, I think a lot of people are not aware that trade quality platform ladders are eye wateringly expensive. This particular ladder appears to have a list price of over $1k at most suppliers. Although virtually all would be purchased with trade discount, they would still be selling in the high hundreds of $$.

    • +1

Exactly this, ladders aren't a cheap tool. Good ones especially.

  • +4

If I don't receive my ladder what steps should I take to get a refund?

    • +4

Should've RUNG customer service before purchasing

      • +1

I did that, but no one answered. It just rung and rung.

        • Don't FALL into the trap of endless hold music. Probably had enough of "stairway to heaven" for a lifetime!

      • It seems like a steep problem, but don't let it escalate. You've got to rise above it. Also, remember, it's just a ladder, not a life or death SITUATION.

    • +1

You could send goons around to their office, or do a chargeback on your credit card. Preferably the ladder.

    • Just contact them on chat or by phone in the morning…
Don't be disheartened, Ricky. Keep CLIMBING for justice, and hopefully, you'll REACH a satisfactory resolution.

  • Got refunded

  • Yep refunded

  • shucks looks like its not going to be honoured and a price error?

  • +2

MyDeal had a pretty big data breach recently…2m+ people's info breached.
