I've no idea when I would use these, but somehow I want to buy them.
If these were the standard grip, i would jump on them. Reviews are really good of these.
Unless you've tried these grips and know they aren't for you - I'd say get them anyway. I have this exact model and really appreciate the size of the grip. I have medium/large hands and they are very comfortable and allow great control. I'm not trying to push toothpicks around a stuck nut, which is how my other pliers feel now in comparison.

Really handy. May be a niche tool but I work in the snow fields and use these all the time for rusted nuts. Yeah it does hurt but it's a nice hurt
