Was browsing for a 64gb micro sd to beef up my recent Anbernic RG35XX purchase. Looks like a decent deal for a decent brand SD

  • Nice. The 128 and 256 are also good prices

128GB is a similar price at CPL and DD. I got OW to PB.

Same price at Bing Lee and their eBay store.

If you have eBay Plus you can possibly get a nice discount. For example you can put the monthly $5 coupon to good use here, I have found that the $50 minimum spend can be with reached with non-eBay Plus items.

    Slow card

Little bit concerning but unverified source … "Samsung Australia didn't recognized serial number of my Samsung 256GB SD card, which failed after 2 months of using. These cards are not genuine and come with no 10 years warranty in Australia."

    • Wot….
Are you really trying to say that the actual Samsung Store on Amazon are selling fake Samsung cards??

They have a 4.7 out of 5* over 9000 (lol) reviews.
I think you might be drinking the coolaid.

It’s not actually sold by Samsung. The biggest issue with Amazon is that sometimes they will accept returns and sell the product without checking. Back in the GPU scalping days, Amazon would sell Bricks as GPUs after someone would ‘return it’.

          Yes they are…
Look further down for the 3rd party sellers..

          Sold by: Sunwood-AU
          Sold by: IT_Factory
          Sold by: AZ eShop

          • @Jessie Ryder: Amazon has combined stock though. When you buy from Amazon you don’t buy from a particular seller.

The same issue arises in counterfeit board games.

@sween64: I don't see the winge, Amazon has the best return policy out of pretty much any company.

Just return it to them if you think its fake.

              • @Jessie Ryder: Or buy from Officeworks with price beat and have more confidence that it will be legit.

    • As weird as your case sounds it is entirely possible. Amazon Samsung products are not normal, which is something I found out with the Samsung keyboard I bought having a different product number than say JB despite looking exactly the same.

Are they fake? No, but they might also not be Samsung Au products either. Either way always run a memory check on any hard drive memory card people buy, you never know.

  • Thanks OP. Was going to grab one from OW tomorrow. Saved me some money.

  • I'm getting a 64 gb to run the os and 256gb for the second games one.

  • Thanks OP, got some for $9.50 with OW pricebeat.

    • I wanted to get the 128Gb but my local Ow only had the 64GB, oh wells should be fine for my Tapo cameras I got at home
