The real question is if $39 dollars is worth the performance difference between this and the 6700xt at $467.22.
For me playing at 1440p, for the games i play, definitely worth it.
6750xt is around 5-6% faster and cost around 8% more. Depend if few fps is important to you
Yea, really does seem like the 6700xt is the better buy here, with overclocking it can pretty much match the 6750xt, while the 6750xt seems to have very little oc headroom.
Think this will be any cheaper in the coming 3 or 4 months? Was going to spot my kid an upgrade for his machine…his birthday is coming up in a few months. Have been keeping an eye out for 6700/6750 this past six months, and hoping for around $500. Just not sure if I should pull the trigger now, or wait a couple of months.
Currently running integrated graphics in a 5700G on a B550 motherboard. I know it won't make the most out of this card…but should give him the ability to play some games that don't work well now.
This will KILL his integrated graphics, depends on how much you want to spend, both cards will be amazing at 1440p. the 6700XT is the cheapest its ever been, so save yourself the $40 and get that. Otherwise get him to contribute something and get this card. It will be a huge upgrade.
You are talking about the equivalent to a RX550! and upgrading to a 6700XT! approx 80fps
I'm surprised his current setup performs as well as it does to be honest. Nice to hear that he should notice a difference with a 67XX then! :-)
