  Why not give the seller a break? They're offering a deal, a quite reasonable price, and no-one's forced to buy anything.
  
  Go into any retail store in a shopping centre, even an airport, and you see'll that $150 is a very typical price for boots. Yes, way too expensive for my pocket, but that's the advertised price, and people do seem to buy them there, else the stores would be out of business.

    Bought a pair of these a while ago as a gift, super poor quality. Wool pulled right off quite easily and looked like something on par with Kmart quality. Didn’t even end up gifting it.
    Yeah i'll second this. The upper and sole of mine had come apart and winter isnt even over yet.
    I've had mine for about a year. Within about 6 months of semi-daily wear, every single point where my foot contacts the sole is just rubber now. All the wool is gone. They're still comfy enough for me not to want to replace because wool on top is still intact… but I'd not buy another pair of these
    Can confirm. Bought a pair in a deal earlier this year. Within a few days of wear, I noticed fluff everywhere. Bald patches quickly developed where my feet made contact with the slippers.
    Threw them out within 6 months. So if you purchase these, just know that it will lose all of the wool and you'll need to replace them after several months.
    They are VERY poor quality.
    In comparison I had a pair of Peter Alexander ones I wore for years before they were bald and I replaced with these. Never again.
    These fall apart after 6 months and the comfort is like being barefoot on concrete fyi

    Also adding to the feedback that I purchased from this store before, and the product quality was not good at all. After about 6-8 weeks, the bottom layer started falling apart. Don't recommend.
    The lambswool where the heel sits wears away completely after a few short weeks.
    I am not sure about the quality of this for wear and tear. Got a pair for wifey in April and the wool lining at the heel is completely bald/bare now. Maybe is just a bad batch?
    Purchased a pair preciously. Poor quality and poor sizing. Don't recommend.
    I bought another pair last year and the sole peeled off both pairs within a month or two. They repaired them at their cost, but they are starting to peel apart again. Might get a second winter out of them, just. Maybe there was a change in quality?
    Awful seller, worst customer experience and it upsets me that they still try to get into this great community. The negative reviews are real guys and I went through it two years ago. Be aware!
    These guys are frauds! They asked for my order number previously to try and’ look good’ and appear like they’re providing the best service but never cared to follow up! What a load of garbage quality scuffs. Would not bother wasting my money on this. Better to spend on better quality and pay more to get value for your money. Don’t waste your time and money. Appalling customer service.

      To mention the ever increasing positive feedback (taken from just the last deal post alone):
      
      Bought a pair for myself and the missus in 2020 and they're both still going strong. Bought a pair for my parents and theirs are still good. I work from home and wear mine a lot. Couple mates have all bought them too and all still in good condition.
      
      Bought the boot style and had no issues. Taken on extended camping trips, round the house etc. Excellent quality
      
      Mine have lasted 3 years, have been great
      
      I have had mine, worn nearly daily, for about 4 years and they are in fantastic nick - they are quality, durable, warm and comfortable.. Same for my wife, same for my parents. I have ordered on at least three occasions and service was great and prompt each time.
      It may sound odd but these scuffs from Ugg Australia are among my favourite possessions.
      
      I ordered 2 pair for myself with the previous deal a couple of months ago and they are great.
      
      The four pairs of Scuff Ian I bought for the family from the 6 Jul 2022 deal at $30 a piece are still going strong here too.
      
      I bought these last year, they were too big so I returned them, they sent me a free return label and sent me a size smaller as I requested. Easy return, very comfy, no complaints from me.
      
      Bought a couple things from these guys. No complaints and glad to support an Australian company.
      
      My men's scuffs are still going great. Got them in one of the last deals like this.
      
      Wearing mine right now, almost 2 years old and still going strong.
      
      Happy enough with mine.
      
      Out of the six various models we have, only one sole came apart but that was kids who wore them every where.
      
      I’ve also had a pair of Opal Ugg boots for several years and they’re still going strong (similar issue with heels though).
      
      Worth $29, I buy them once a year. Does what it is meant to.
      
      Despite all the negs, I appreciate the product and all my family enjoy wearing the scuffs, since being an Ozbargainer I don't like putting on the expensive gas heating. And Melbourne winter is cold! Bought more.
      
      For the people who complain about the wool on the insole wearing - have you ever had any sheep's wool insoles that didn't?

        Have had for two winters and are still ok. I would have remained on the sideline. But I just don't appreciate the responses provided by the rep. I know situations can be challenging but responding the way rep did today was very unprofessional. It's a little disappointing.

        Unfortunately, (and not due to the seller) Australia Post misdirected the parcel and it's still travelling around Australia on way to me. Looking forward to more comfy sheepskin scuffs to wear around the house.
        
        My last pair was worn for the whole winter season or 2 and got worn out - and I have no problem with that, I consider it v acceptable for sheepskin slippers.

The only person who is "ruining" this "Australian manufacturer" is whomever is at the helm of their marketing account.

Anyway, downvoting for the same reasons as every other time. Obviously fake RRP. Fake "… from … Bought this pair of boots". "AuStRaLiAn MaNuFaCtuReR" yet buys parts for their boots from other countries. Overly aggressive and hostile marketing account. These deals are not deals at this point, they are spam. The are so regularly on sale that I highly doubt that the RRP listed on their site is anywhere close to realistic.

we are still uncertain of the origins of the soles of these products

for over 150 posts over three years, week after week the store rep has told us

Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

And now that we are doing exactly that, he calls us trolls?

So I ask once again, since you insisted, where are the soles of these slippers made in?

    And after 150 posts over three years, encouraging us to ask for who the manufacturer is, the best you can tell us that your supplier of the soles is based in South Australia, which not the same as the soles are manufactured in South Australia
    
    So the question which has been asked is are the soles of your products manufactured/made in Australia?
    
    Just to be absolutely clear supplier does not always equate manufacturer
    
    If the soles of your shoes and made in Australia by Starr Rubber and plastics, please let us know, I will be more than happy to pass on their details to other Aussie Ugg Manufacture so that they can support local jobs and local sole makers (as they currently seem to be unaware of Australian sole manufacturers for ugg boots/ slippers)

        @Motek Benzona: When people have a negative experience dealing with a company they'll generally voice that opinion when the company comes up (in this case that's on a weekly basis). When that company also attempts to gaslight people in to thinking you're crazy /lying for voicing your displeasure it's only fair to respond calling them out with evidence

That Australian business won't be back around here posting anytime soon with their $29 scuffs and dodgy website, spamming ozbargain - and not disclosing where their soles were made.

Who is the next battle going to be with?

We need to find a business that is Australian based, with Australian employees, that potentially we have never purchased a product from, that has a person associated with the business that will get quite upset and react when we constantly send negative votes their way and advise others to avoid, that may have a product that had a quality issue, and for which the RRP seems too high and unreasonable based on our expertise.

I'm thinking maybe a restaurant - like I said, it doesn't matter if we have never been - we just collate a list of feedback verified/unverified (it doesn't matter) from anyone that says they have ever been to that restaurantand had a meal that didn't meet expectations, or screw it, from any Australian restaurant if it sells similar food. It won't matter if other people find their food and specials good, we will just barrage every bit of media they post their specials on with our list of unsatisfactory feedback. Let's also constantly ask them where they get their cooking oil from. If they are not willing to disclose the exact address of where the oil is from, then we will call them out harder and tell them to stop telling everyone they are Aussie made and owned unless they tell us the address. They can't be advertising a meal with Australian produce cooked by an Australian chef if potentially the oil they use on top to dress the meal may not be local. Let's make it the mission to do this for 2 years straight - anytime they post, we will be on it like flies on sh#t to down vote and bring up our fault lists and oil address request and let everyone know to avoid them - even if it turns out it is just the one of us that actually ends up having had a meal at the restaurant. This is going to be fun. Imagine what could happen to their business and staff. They will have deserved it though - particularly if they react and tell us to go away. We can just tell them they are being unprofessional and making it worse for themselves and it's their fault. I am honestly trembling and my hands are shaking. This will be awesome - we can be judge, jury, and executioner. The only people at eat at their restaurant is meth heads anyway.
