I've got the original V1 and comes with a sub. V2 doesn't? That's dodge..
Unless you're extremely space-constrained, I would recommend getting a similarly-priced, proper active stereo speaker set from Edifier. Sound bars like this don't have good stereo separation and would have small drivers in a cheap plasticky body. You're paying for the brand name, marketing and the RGB lighting rather than a quality sound experience. That being said, to each their own and if you're into this kind of thing, more power to you.
Any suggestions from edifier, their speakers seem plenty chunky

But I went with a Logitech Z623 system off Gumtree for $80 and it is definitely a better sound quality. If you desperately need RGB then you're out of luck though
