If you want to game, you shouldn’t buy a Mac.
I’d take the Mac for video editing, the Mini-LED screen is a big advantage over the Lenovo’s IPS.

I'm not sure about phone as you will have to do split payments of $100 (max denominator of giftcards). I price matched an iPad Pro instore and paid with 19 gift cards without any issues. They didnt have stock in that store, but I was able to click and collect the next business day.

16 inch is the same price as this 14 inch however only 512gb. I think it has almost the same spec, only difference is the screen size and ssd capacity.

Have one from work. The screen is the killer feature, the rest is fine. I was surprised how heavy it is compared to a Lenovo X1 extreme.

1.Purchased $2550 worth of ultimate home gift cards from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/778989 (you can use cash to bypass 5 limit per day)
2.Went to officeworks to price match the JBHIFI Deal they brought the total down to $2562 (5% price beat)
3.Had officeworks order the latpop to my house (you can order delivery to the store aswell) allthough doesn't seem to be any stock in victorian stores at all.
4.Paid with 25 $100 ultimate home giftcards instore and the last remaining total in cash.Hope that helps.

You have to order instore at Officeworks from another store and pay the full amount whilst there. Don't think it'll be available tomorrow though as I called JB Hifi and they said the $2697 deal expired today.
