  • Thanks for the deal. Can this be stacked?

    • +1

Yes, different plans can be stacked.

      • Does that mean it can be used as a recharge by an existing lebara customer(like me) and the new plan start only after the existing plan’s end date?

        • Yes.
Lebara Mobile’s Long Term Plans are programmed to be stacked. Meaning, you can recharge with a long term plan and it would stack to your existing 30 day or long term plan. The Long term plan would start only once your current plan expires. You can stack Lebara plans up to 24 months.

          • @jimojr: I was told by Lebara on chat a while ago that starter packs don’t stack?

              • @jimojr: Haha yes you are right. They don't seem to know well their own products tbh.

                • @fozzie: I may be wrong, I bought one on ebay 3 months ago, they sent me a starter pack with a code. I just checked the starter pack which I bought it today, there is no rechange code in it.

          • @jimojr: The same plans can't be stacked?
            New to Lebara

          • @jimojr: Thank you. Any idea how would i go about registering this plan bought from woolies as a recharge to my existing sim?

  • Is there a connect by date?

    • It's mentioned in the catalogue. I think must be connected before the end of sept if not mistaken

    • yea wandering that myself. My guess would be 28 days as most providers do that…

    • No, this packs have an expiry date and you just use that (usually a couple of years)

    • You'll need to activete the sim within 60 days from purchase, not by expiry date stated on the package.

      https://help.lebara.com.au/support/solutions/articles/510001…

      • But I was told that in store packs are valid until expiry date.
I just tried to activate a sim I bought about a year ago and it works phew.

        I wonder if it’s a new rule?

        • I've just confirmed with their live chat.

"You must activate it within 60 days from the date of purchase.
The above mentioned time frame is the standard one as Lebara is a prepaid service.
If you activate beyond 60 days, we can't guarantee that you'll still have the plan loaded in the SIM or the number available."

I mentioned about expiry date on the package and the sleeve expiry date of 30th September, but they said you might not be able to activate the sim after 60 days of purchase. You can double check with the live chat as well.

          • @Rinko: Cool. Anyway I have a pack from about a year ago and tried to activate and it was fine. Fingers crossed as I bought two and saved for when I need!

  • Are they easy to dealing with? Port in and out? Current plan is expiring soon.

  • anyone has exp if it's eligible for everyday rewards offer "buy $xx get xxxx points"?

  • Anyone know if there is a activation time limit you need to activate by when purchasing?

On their website it says 60 days from purchase.
    https://help.lebara.com.au/support/solutions/articles/510001…

"After you purchase a Starter Pack, you have 60 days to activate your SIM before it expires. When you activate the SIM, you’ll need to provide us with your name, address, email address and valid identification. "

    • I was told that in store packs are valid until expiry date.
I just tried to activate a sim I bought about a year ago and it works phew.

      I wonder if it’s a new rule?

      • Ohh, that is good to know, I would of thought it would be valid till expiry but now I am not sure.

        • Someone above asked Lebara and they say 60 days. (Not guaranteed if you activate after).I already have 2 from around a year ago, however I would be wary now and stick to the 60days tbh

          • +1

@fozzie: Yeah, i'll stick to the 60 days to be sure

  • Thanks OP.
Can I purchase and use it as an existing Lebara customer?

    • I was told no on chat. Move out and back in.

  • Looks like you need to buy 2 of 180 plans and 1x 30 day plan, so use 1st 180 stack 30 day plan, once 1st 180 plan expiry stack the remain 180 plan… can anyone confirm ?

    • +1

you may need to connect within 60 days from purchase, so i don't think it's a safe idea.Just buy 180 days, there should be same/better deals in 6 months.

      • thanks, especially if pack expired after 60 days, there's no point stacking it.

  • Can I use gift card to buy these?

    • Some people have reported success in buying amaysim packs. Some others have said it doesn’t work. I think it depends on each Woolies.

      • will give it a go tomorrow, at least i still have coles master card

  • expiry date on back of card
also turns out close to nothing on Coles
    activates quickly
renewal is generally double the cost of new customers
upon renewal one got to wait for the checkbox autorenewal appears to get the double data
suggest to use burner visa card to do so
flip between boost and them and earn a quasy living?
