Any comments from people who bought it in the last deal?

  • Price is decent but is it worth the gamble..

  • Is there a good 144hz version ?

    • This one does claim to be AMD FreeSynch Pro enabled - although as AMD list 100Mz as a requirement something may have been lost in translation…

      • thanks !!!

  • SS6 was rejected as " you cannot use this code with other offers".

    I got charged $106.45!!!

      New user?

  • Decided to take a punt. Been wanting a portable monitor for a while and $106.11 delivered is good for this size with a case/stand and being IPS. I saw reviews on an Amazon listing were all quite positive.

  • Just got mine. Trying to use with Macbook Air M1 via USB-C. I have a green LED on power indicator, but the screen is blank? Wtf?

    • Try giving it power via the other USB-C. If it's not enough on the MacBook try a power adapter.

Does it show in the display settings?

      • I did try in all the ports. If you use the lower one on the monitor, you get a red LED. Top one is green.
Yes it does show in the display settings, but can't work out how to get the image to display on the monitor..

The power adaptor is EU type and I don't have another one lying around. I would have thought MBA M1 would be plenty of power to use it, that's the reason I bought it. Hopefully I am just missing something minor here..

        • So you haven't tried a charger at all? Can you access the menu on the display to check the input?

          • @Clear: I used a USB charger, no difference. I don't think power is the issue. The monitor seems to be powered on, it just wont display an image.

The scroll button on the side adjusts brightness up and down, but I can't access any menus.

I think it is DOA. Probably been dropped/damaged during shipping, there was also a small tear in the side of the box.

Buying stuff like this off AE is always a gamble but thought i'd take a chance at this price. Looks like I will have to intiate the return process though..

I also noticed people on Amazon complaining about the monitor being unreliable or dying after a short period of use.

  • Found a power adapter. Still didn’t work. Hope to hear from other MBA M1 owners who bought this soon..

Screen is also blank when connected to my Windows laptop using HDMI-Mini HDMI and external power supply..

Really not impressed. The monitor seems to be detected, but can’t get any image to show at all..

  • got mine today, using displaycal and a xrite to clibrate it
the initial setting i can set it the best to are
    brightness 10
    contrast 5
    black level 5
    eco standard
    RGB 744
    HDR off

this left with 120cd/m2 brightness tho, factory setting can have it at 200 if that matters but the delta value is way off (10) , turn down green a bit .
the delta is 1.8 without any icc.

    • got it to almost 0 delta after calibration, 100%srgb, 76%P3. sorry to see those we had bad luck. mine seems working perfectly, for now.

AliExpress issued full refund and looks like I don't have to return it. Might open it up and see if I can see whats wrong.

Will be interesting to see how long they last for you guys..

Would like to know how it goes with MBA M1 and the USB-C cord which came with monitor. I was expecting the monitor to connect immediately but it wasn't to be. What a shame because I had been wanting one of these for a while and it would have been very useful..

Can someone confirm to me they are able to access the menu on this monitor whilst it is powered but not connected to any device? And is this accessed using the scroll wheel on the right hand side? Because I've tired clicking and get nothing.. moving it up and down only adjusts brightness.

    • The power button is used to select\return after the jog wheel is pushed, but it does seem to want a signal before it behaves.

  • Mine came yesterday and works quite well. I had no problem getting it to work with a windows desktop or LG V30 but with the phone it is finnicky which port to use. The manual is reasonably clear.

You can power it at the 30% brightness using your phone as a power supply if you have a full USB C (rather than the " you can use it OTG for 10 minutes but you have to ask" crap that RealMe " put on their cripple port). - but I wouldn't…

I didn't buy it as a reference monitor, for what it is, does, and costs, I'm fairly pleased.
