I was going to buy these. I checked their website. It shows AU Stock and the AU model number.

I’ve brought quite a bit a of stuff from Allphones before. I’d be pretty confident that these are genuine and if you want me save you some time as I know this is the best price I found already last weekend.

Also you can also check once you receive the item to confirm the serial with AppleCare Australia.

However I’ve seen that Australian Stock very much have the AU model numbers in the title and also check their Full Description as they often will say Genuine AU stock. Seen quite a few just have Sydney (AU) stock on their Full Description which does mean anything.

  • ATL?

    • +2

Does that mean all time low ? They have been cheaper but this appears pretty reasonable

The only time I’ve seen a deal cheaper than this was OW Pricematch brought them down to $330 and then use the 10% Ultimate Gift Catds Coles had on special last week. Which should have worked out about $300.60 iirc. Do a search on these and look at the previous deal.
Someone posted details on Mediaform who had/has them for $345, plus 5% OW and 10% on the gift cards.

Otherwise yes, this is an ATL except for the current code deal

eBay had them as a 10am special for $289.

  • Hmmm I bought a brand new sealed from Ebay for $150. It have legit serial number checked on https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
After using it for a week, it doesnt seem to be noise cancelling or its just not as great as youtube reviewed this. :<.

      Fake

      • Thanks :(

    • +3

definitely fake… can't even get regular airpods 3 at that price.

the noise cancellation is very good, better than my Bose QC35 imo.

      • OW has AirPods Gen 3 with MagSafe Charging for $249 so dunno where you get your retail pricing from. I believe the lightning only model is cheaper.

        • please read again my guy…… - he said he got his 'brand new sealed Airpods Pro from Ebay for $150'. I said you can't even buy a regular airpods 3 at that price.

Did you check settings using an iPhone? They should show up as “AirPods Pro 2 vt2008” between your iTunes details and airplane mode, as well as in Bluetooth.

    • buy nice or buy twice

many are listed on ebay currently at around AUD 200, and I bought one. I could tell it fake right at the moment I open the package, I got refunded though. Don't bother to check the serial number as they can just print the genuine serial number for a fake product.

  • EBay had these as a 10am special for 259 last year

    • +3

      The bots got all those

I ordered mine last week and received it on Tuesday. Can confirm they are genuine Apple Airpods Pro. Apple even offered me 6 months of free Apple Music as soon as I paired it.

I want to know how you guys are so sure these are fake please?

22% off $408.45 using the SEOFY22 code brings the price down to $318.59.
Allphones Website says 100% Australian Stock using the codes - many other eBay sellers don’t use the Australian stock code or list 100% Genuine AU Stock
    SKU: APP-MQD83ZAA
    EAN: 194253397878

I ended up seeing a post of Airpods Pro Gen 2 which were from Mediaform and then just did the 5% from the Officeworks - Mediaform had on their website stock for $345 - OW 5% price match bringing price to $330.60 and then got 8 x $50 Kids Ultimate Gift Kids cards from Coles which were 10% off until Tuesday 13/6 June for $45 per card $50 cards.

I called Officeworks pricematch tram, but they won’t do the Gift cards over the phone so at 7:15am on Wednesday I went to my only Officeworks and the manager checked Mediaform’s website and agreed to beat it by 5%.

So next to the 10am deal eBay had which they were selling them for $289 two months ago iirc , I think I got a pretty good deal.

I still want to know why multiple ppl are saying these these are absolutely fake. There are plenty listings which look fake - no code, ambiguous comments like “Stock from Sydney AU” but never wrote “Genuine AU stock”.

Surely AppleCare can look up the serial number and tell you when it was manufactured and also the country that it was sold in - and sure I can believe the good counterfeits can potentially get AU serial numbers, but they’d be pretty well connected. I’d also get AppleCare+ and if they weren’t real, and I couldn’t get a refund from eBay I’d get AppleCare to send me some refurbished ones, since they wouldn’t sell me AppleCare+ and then reneg on that.

EBay should ensure if you get counterfeit product, you will get your money back.

I got caught out buying my daughter the very first AirPods Gen 1 and daughter knew straight away they were copies. Counterfeit back then was pretty rubbish, but I got my money back, I should have known from the cheaper price.

I’m just saying if eBay are covering the 22% discount through, why is $318.59 have to be fake?

Sorry if this post is too long, I’ve just put it all out there on what I got this week but I was going to get some from Allphones.

Now that I have done something different, and ended up getting these AirPods Pro Gen 2 from Officeworks instead, but I almost didn’t…

I just wanna know how you you were all so sure these ones are fake. Thanks for reading. Cheers.

    • They were talking about a $150 purchase

  • Don't forget the army of fake $200 airpods pro 2nd gen that is going around on facebook marketplace, avoid them like the plague

  • The deal seems to be responding to this eBay seller (Titan_gear):

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/125536849701?epid=16056260933&ha…

35c difference, but I bought from Allphones anyway, since it has express shipping (signature required).
