I know, I added it as a comment because it was missing from the deal post and it's handy to have.
It's such a chill, relaxing game. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this game after my first time playing it. The only huge gripe is moving around the map. You're either walking or on an ATV.
Well, how else do we hunt deer? Snipe them from choppers? Lol
Yeah fair call, from memory you can fast travel but it takes away the immersion. The ATV is only available with DLC too.
I think the other game that is similar, Way of the Hunter has more options to travel. it's pretty much a clone of the game.
Overall, awesome game that with some good QOL updates would be amazing.
Do you have any tips? I really got stuck being unable to find animals, low money, no tutorial
Can I mod the game where I can just sneak around and shoot?
Reading guides, the end game is essentially setting up blinds and fast forwarding time to get to the spawn points
In summary - yes it was peaceful and immersive, but just too much of a grind
Not sure if it's too late, but there's a hack which gives unlimited money and all guns, I've unticked all the perks that help you hunt easier so it's still a challenge
I thought unlimited money and all guns would ruin the game, but it's fantastic this way got an amazing graphics mod so it looks visually stunning.
Now I can get on, and just hunt call an animal stalk it and begin a good hunt that can last anywhere from 15-45 mins depending on the animal I'm hunting

have this on Steam its a very good hunter simulator would recommend this if you like hunter games.

Have this on steam suprised i've spent over 70 hours… i remember several of them took place going around the map and waiting for a damn animal.
I love playing this game. Got some cheats for it and wish I had not. Great game play. Yes walking around the maps takes a while but that is the fun. It's like hiking. Lovely scenery. In multiplayer you can play in maps you don't own.
Australia map is now released and is awesome. Biomes are awesome. From outback QLD to tropical NQ. You'll need to buy the map as dlc but worth the ~$6.
Can you be an animal and attack the hunters, preferably Revenant style? A bear survival game would be pretty cool. I can think of some areas in QLD where it would be even more satisfying.

Great game! Steam tells me I have 563 hours on it; and I'm playing the new and excellent Australia DLC as I write this.
Oh my beautify god, I love this game on console, would be sooooo good to have it on PC. Might just buy a PC for this and MFS
