  • theres no prices? Doubt they could beat kogans $477 deal ;)

  • I supposed you have to buy them at RRP.

  • Nothing but RRP.

  • you are 100% correct sir.you have to buy them at RRP.

  • no deal! what's the point of having to pay if it's RRP?!

mmm…the fact that ur paying RRP means you already paid for those "freebies" :)

  • Did anyone see anything that COTD was going to do a $399 S3 on Tuesday but it did not get up — instead, $1 Havianas?

    • That's next Tuesday.

Key letter in Branners post is A s3, meaning one.

    • iPad was leading.

maybe someone should print some SS or kogan catalogues and distribute them outside their launch….

it's one thing supporting something that isn't apple… paying RRP for an android phone is just pure idiocracy.

Walked past the shop this morning, few things to let some OzBargainers know.

    • There is a bit of a line, but it moves SLOW, there were only about 20 people in front of me, but they told me I'd be waiting 30 minutes to get in (and the shop wasn't even crowded)
    • They give you a tear off sheet to 'win' a prize, everyone is a winner but most will win some sort of candy. You get a sheet with an AR code, from what I could see, most of the QR codes looked identical, so most people are gonna win candy.
    • It's more of a show piece or concept store, very similar to an Apple Store.

      • Scan code of candy winner with phone.
      • Line up and get code. Scan into phone.
      • If they match, leave, discard, and join the end of the line.
      • Get friends to line up too.
      • Rinse, repeat, until a different code is discovered.
      • Underpants.
      • <shrug>
      • Profit.
    • FYI you don't have to queue up to get in - that's only for people wanting to play the game.

They got the 10.1 Note to play with in-store.

samsung have a store? like an apple store? why do they bother, no one's going to pay full price for a samsung

    • Are the previous poster said its more of a showroom. Apple stores are showrooms too!

      • not sure why the hoohaa about samsung showrooms… they have been around in singapore for years.

  • LOOOOL samsung rock candies?

  • I lined up for 1 hour. Received rock candy. Excellent. So did the 3 people in front of my and the person behind me. Must be some other lucky person with the TV.

  • Headset is worth $15. Last time I bought one it was $10 from a Telstra store. Nothing too special.
