Cheers

Follow Up: Head-Fi suggests not the best sounding for the price but not bad however they are good if you don't feel like looking after your headphones all the time

  • was cheaper at COTD few months ago. I think it was $35 or $30

    • Was that the price with or without some ridiculous shipping amount?

  • Fair enough shipped? I don't think I'll end up getting them but would be good for gym bag or for kids who don't treat headphones well.

  • the first 2 comments in the link say theyre horrible?

    • +1

Yeah as mentioned but they are comparing to some pretty decent headphones in a similar price bracket. But better off getting one pair or slightly poorer sounding headphones (if SQ doesn't matter too much) then getting better ones and having them break 2 or 3 times.

I am actually considering re-shelling a pair of my IEM's so I need all the $$$ I can.

Also you have to admit these phones don't look too bad.

      • Nice, which ones. Re-shelling costs quite a bit. Are you re-shelling + changing drivers or just re-shelling

        • Well I suppose I'm going to upgrade a little based on a quote and advice given on head-fi. I have some Triple-Fi 10's that push on part of my ear, Love the sound as I'm a bit of a bass head (using them now on my UDAC-2 listening to the MOS sessions 9) so if an extra driver gives that little more of a kick I might go for it. Looking at using Unique Melody as I dont feel like shipping to the US 2 or 3 times for remodeling.

  • I got some off COTD and yer the sound is not bad, they take a while to run in… and they are not very powerful but they are snazzy and good for the price.

  • i bought these from cotd a while back also for $44 shipped.

they are not for audiophiles, they are quite low on the bass. that being said they aren't bad sounding, look great, very light, comfy, sturdy and have an excellent cable.

    • And Very strong….
