You will need your Revolut account, a smartphone that supports apple pay or google pay and your discord account.
Steps:
  • Add money to your Revolut Account.
  • Make sure your google/apple account has no cards, if there are just remove them for the time being.
  • Add one of the cards from Revolut to google/apple pay. Use any turkey address for the card address using This Site
  • Download a VPN that has turkey in it. NordVpn/TunnelBear.. Turn it On.
  • Open Discord, Login, Get nitro…
  • This is an important part… the currency must be displayed in Turkey Lira while you are buying. Looks like this

      Personally, I'm ok with spending money on nitro, mainly for the higher resolution streams and 500MB file uploads.
      I'm just glad Discord hasn't decided to monetise core features so using it without nitro is perfectly viable and normal. They needed to monetise in some way, however, and I think that this low-stakes way that doesn't impact the majority of users was a good move.

      The shared emojis are fun too and the profile customisation is okay, I think it appeals to people who want to use it for the enhanced features. If you don't upload lots of videos or files that's fine (especially as the limit is now 25MB) but IMO for something that I use a lot, I can justify it. - I can't justify paying the Australian pricing for it though ($130 for a year yikes).

    I’m currently subscribed so I can’t check, but if Discord hasn’t pulled the old 270TRY (full Nitro with boosts + custom profiles) rate, it might still be possible to switch to it using this trick by switching to it through the iOS subscriptions menu.

    Is this still possible on android? When I try to sign up I get the error it's not currently possible to add a subscription in the app and going through the web browser I never get the subscription in TRY

      Figured it out! It's because I had a current sub which I started in the desktop app. Anyone else that faces the same issue, you have to cancel your current sub in the desktop app first and then wait for you to no longer have any subscription.

        I've been told discord recognises revolut card location based on account info.
        Need a virtual turkish credit card, which i have no idea how to get haha.

    does it auto bill in lira after initial billing cycle? If so, does it stay at that price? Cause checking subscriptions in appleid settings shows the price from before they upped the cost.

            @RexyKzK: I got about 800 lira worth of gift cards and heard some people managed to get this for the previous, cheaper price. I signed up for the cheapest Nitro Basic first, but when opening subscriptions through App store I see it for 750 lira and not 270. There is also something called Nitro Classic but I assume it is worse than normal Nitro.
            Any chance you could explain how you did it? Any steps I could/should do?

              @PuppetMaster000: Hey! unfortunately the way i was able to renew using the old price was by getting nitro last year when the prices were lower. So for some reason when it renewed last month, it renewed with the old price instead of the new price.

              I think this deal rn is probably the best price you will get now. I think theyve replaced nitro classic with nitro basic now. If all you want from nitro is the emotes/stickers and file limit of 50mb then nitro basic will do you good.

              However normal nitro is probs better since you can stream with better quality, file limit of 500mb, animated pfp/banners, customize your profile and a few more minor things.

    This doesn't work for me. On Discord it shows 749.99 TRY, but when I click purchase it reverts back to $129.99 AUD per year
