  • Seems like a good price, is it the same/similar as this one on ebay? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261762315673

Yep. I checked Ender's site the other day and they had it for $359 on sale. So this deal is the best I've seen including historical pricing

  • Got this as my first 3D Printer from Jaycar for $399. No complaints so far!

    • Any idea if JayCar price match?

      • Not sure but I suspect if they do it'd only be brick and mortar stores.

  • +3

Nice, I'd suggest also checking out the sovol sv06 which has previously been $315 and is a prusa mk3s+ clone

    • +2

+1 SV06 my favourite printer so far. Likely will be till I can afford a Bambu labs P1P.
V2 neo is a great first printer but mine is too slow for most of my needs.
      Amazon.com.au has a $50 coupon off the SV06 atm.. ($350)

What makes you like SV06 over the V2? Thanks!

Would also like to know this. The information out there regarding 3D printers is pretty overwhelming for a beginner, was thinking I'd get this as the Ender is so well supported by community. The SV06 is currently $349 at Amazon so I'll pull the trigger on that if it's significantly better

@sourdawg: PEI bed, linear rails, direct drive extruder. It's a no-brainer over the Creality.

            • +1

@Quarn: Thanks. I think I'll grab one. I actually posted the $315 deal a few weeks back but faltered at the last second.

              • +2

@sourdawg: If you can stretch to the SV06 Plus then you'll have a cracking printer, the larger bed size and high flow hotend are worth the extra price.

                • @Quarn: They're $460 on Amazon atm. More grist for the mill I'm close though haha. Thanks for the insights

                • @Quarn: Thanks for your insights, I ended up getting the SV06 pro for 460 from Amazon. Now to work out what filaments to order. Cheers!

                  • +1

@sourdawg: Start with PLA, then move up to PETG and TPU. Maybe then ABS and ASA

          • +1

@sourdawg: 300c all metal hot end, linear rails vs rollers, direct drive extruder

  • check out the Elegoo site. they have some really good 3D printers and their support is pretty good.

  • the kingroon last week is probably a better printer/deal
